Simon and AI

as a follower of X-Factor I'm excited..i watch the Brittish one on youtube :)

I'm kinda over Idol..it debuts tonite and I don't think I'm even going to watch it :0/
 
i thnk the ratings for AI is going ot go down... now that Paula and Simon won't be on... (next yr anyway)... I know I won't watch as much if any...
 
I'm bummed about it. Simon is my favorite. But I agree about the ratings going down so it's understandable why he is leaving.
 
I've never heard of X-Factor... I'm not the biggest fan of AI, but I always watch the auditions. Last season was the first one I ever watched every week all the way through. I enjoyed it, and I really like Simon as a judge...LOL. He's funny. Sometimes I think he doesn't have to go as far as he does with his comments, but he's honest. I am looking forward to this season, might watch the whole thing through if I enjoy the contestants like last season, but after Simon and Paula are both gone, not sure if I'll really watch anymore whole seasons-but I'm addicted to the auditions.
 
I'm not a huge AI fan, but I do think viewership may decline. He has a wit about him that will be hard to replace.
 
I'm sad. AI is one of the only shows we can watch as a family. We record it, so I FF through some of the parts, but I don't think I will watch after this year. He's the only one that brought real critism to the competitions. The rest - "eh."
 
I think it will be rubbish without him to be honest, he kinda makes the show. I'm kinda bummed it will only be one season with him and Ellen, I like her.

I do like the x-factor though, I've seen the ones from the UK, and the one from Norway (which was rubbish, probably because there was no Simon Cowell;)), so that's good. I like that the judges are competing with eachother on the x-factor, rather than just being judges.
 
aww, he's my favorite judge. He just can't handle the show w/o Paula. Paula left right?

I think the show itself is a kind of a joke but I do get sucked into watching it.
 
I won't watch next year without him. Just won't be the same. The show has kinda gone downhill but I love the fact that we can sit and watch as a family.
 
Three words: Jumped. The. Shark.

'AI' will continue for one more season after this one and then get canned. Mark my words! :)
 
Once again, I agree with LA! It's exactly the same thing I predicted. I will be watching the Biggest Loser tonight since they come on at the same time. I love AI, so it sucks that everything is changing :(
 
I must be in the minority because I cannot stand Simon. He is arrogant and rude and just plain mean sometimes. I stopped watching AI because I could not stand Simon
 
i think a lot of people don't like him jessica. for me, he is the only one who truly speaks his mind. it's refreshing, imo.
