Yesterday I did a mini session with my uncle's wife (I don't say aunt b/c she's 8 years younger than me and his second wife so she just doesn't feel like an aunt) and my baby cousin for some Easter pics...I stayed up late last night editing and making them perfect for her..I sent her some copies with my watermark on them to use for facebook etc. This morning I log onto facebook and she'd uploaded those photos through instagram and ran a filter over them. :glare: I know she just doesn't get it..but geez...if that's all she wanted I could have saved myself a lot of trouble lol..here are a couple of shots pre-instagram edits lol..he's so cute :)

oh those are some adorable pics! you did a great job .. and argghh on the instagram filtered upload, i bet she wouldn't even get why that's upsetting!
 
Great job! That's why you see disclaimers all over Facebook from photographers about sharing, how frustrating.
 
Thanks :)..he's named after my late grandfather...actually if Ella had been a boy she was going to be John Ezra...but if we couldn't use his name I'm glad she did :)

He never got to meet baby Ezra...his youngest grandchild..I'm his oldest! lol there's 36 years between us..crazy!
 
I like the name Ezra. :) I LOVE the photos! You did an amazing job capturing that cutie. Sorry she mangled your shots by running them through filters after they had already been edited. Some people just don't get it and probably never will. :( I saw a friend take a perfectly beautiful edited shot of her kids and mess it up in PicNik. Ugh.

Maybe she just felt like playing with them to post on fb....she will likely print and hang your excellently edited versions. :) (but I totally get why its not cool!)
 
Can you come do our family pics at Thanksgiving? You are seriously talented and I promise I won't touch a thing. ;) Beautiful job Nikki.
