Shutterfly Calendars

I just finished uploading mine to their website, and this year you can use your own bottoms! ; )
You just change it to "use photo for background", drag your calendar bottom into the space and choose 'send to front.' It was easy to do.

They are normally $24.99 on sale for $16.99, so I'm trying to decide if i want to order now or wait to see if they get any cheaper.

My PS about Shutterfly is that their calendars are 8x11, so you do lose a smidge of the edge, but it's not enough that I ever notice. I think Rebecca said in the other thread that it's actually a little over 8 inches.
 
Nice that you can use your own bottoms now! That was always my frusteration with the calendars.
 
yay! I had asked on here a week or so ago where to print them because I want to use my own bottoms, and had checked out a few other sites that might work, but I'm so happy I can use shutterfly :)

oofdah on price! Don't your remember the days where they were like $12 each and you got like a free one with every 5 you ordered?
 
so quick question for you ladies that use your own bottoms: do you add all the holidays in & your family's birthdays, etc., or just leave it blank? I'll be gifting them to grandparents. :)
 
Thanks for the head's up, Kellie. I'm debating on whether or not to have one printed for my mom for Christmas. She makes paper versions for the great-grandparents but doesn't have her own. :)

I add holidays, birthdays, and anniversaries. That's 1 reason I may stick with the Shutterfly bottoms even though they're now allowing the pretty digi ones--the dates are already programmed in and will appear automatically.

I keep waiting for more freebies. So far I have only gotten one and I need three more. I hope they at least go on sale first.

Just a note, they were offering 30% off, so I put mine in my cart & left them while I debated about waiting for a better offer. Then Shutterfly emailed me a 40% off coupon as an incentive to complete my order. I got five calendars for $85.

Nice! Might have to try that when I get around to working on mine if the sales aren't too good.
