:confused: I spent the last hour trying to figure out how to make a 8x8 hard book, First off the site is very slow. :cursing:

I was wondering can't we make our own front and back cover or do we have to pick one of their's? And if we can custum our own, is there s template at the store? The first page i put in looked very tiny and the big black page spot? :blink:

I'm no help with the Shutterfly stuff as I've never printed a book from there, but I know some of these other girls can help you out with that!

Your profile photo is actually showing when I click on your name and go to "view public profile." I think what you mean is the little photo that shows next to your name when you post, right? That's your avatar. :) It's uploaded separately from your profile picture.

Everytime Shutterfly has a change in the way they do photobooks, they become less digi friendly.

So...to make the title page bigger. With the page pulled up, go to the lower left corner of the screen and click on 'customize page.' Drag the corners of your page until it fills the full frame. Click continue.

Yes, you can customize the front and back covers as well as the spine. They do have a template, although I've never used it... I usually play around with my covers as they tend to be off-center or off-color (I've only had this problem with the covers...). What you see on the screen is what it will look like when it arrives.

I made a few books in the past with no problem.....THEN about a month ago I couldn't figure out the front/back. I couldn't get my WHOLE image on the page. The template wasn't there. It made me so mad I gave up. I'm watching this tread for tips!!!!!
 
I'm having issues getting my vacation album put together. How do you get a full page spread?

Okay, I figured out how to get it on the inside pages, but can't for the title page. Hmm. What a pain!

Ugh, I found a tutorial for how to do it last time I did on Shutterfly's webpage. I should have saved a link. Try searching there.
