Show me Your Layouts...

show me some layouts where you use a kit that you wouldnt think would fit with the photos in the layout. Like a more feminine kit used to scrap some photos of boys or a boyish kit to scrap photos of girls. I guess some outside of the box layouts. KWIM?

Like I used Chunky Monkey to scrap a photo of my 14 year old son which to me is kinda geared more towards younger boys and girls. He loved the layout though. I call him my little monkey because he climbs trees ALOT!! So got anything like this?

Are we allowed to post ones not in the ssd gallery? lol, I have a pirate kit I got from somewhere else, and I extracted my girls from their pics and turned them into pirates!! Not a traditional girly layout, but I LOVE it!

eta, I LOVE the colors in that gymnastics kit!!!! So pretty!

LOL, I had to search for one that was more out of the box...I generally don't stick to the intended theme, but I usually don't use kits that are too themey either.

This one used Dani's halloween kit from a couple years ago (BeWitched), but I made the background paper by stamping a doodle all over one of the papers, lol.

very cool!! I cant really think of many where I was totally OOTB. I know my daughter gets so annoyed with me because she hates pink and red but I love it. So I dont get to scrap often with the colors I love

I think my whole gallery is this way... LOL! I'm a girly-girl and I have three boys... you do the math! I refuse to not use the girly flowers kits that I love, so I make 'em work for my purpose!
