I keep toying with the idea too - I kept wondering how it would look with my big ole fat face too - then I realized that 75% of the time I have it pulled back in a pony so whats the difference? I say go for it!

You have a cute lil' face in your avie... so a cute lil' cut like #1 should suit you just fine. :)

Thanks girls! and if i hate it i can throw it in a poni like I do most the time any way! I will be able to donate about 15 inches to locks for love while I am at it so its a good cause too :) Ack I am nervous now! Im going to call and make an appt tomorrow!

That is awesome that you can donate to the Locks of Love! It will look fab! Just make that call! And don't forget to show us after you get it done!

I love having short hair. I think that would be really cute on you. I promised Sean I wouldn't cut mine again until Cooper turns 1. But I think short hair is my favorite. I can never make long hair look cute.

Katrina, I do love the 1st cut, but you could getaway with any of the choices and I think you would look fab in the last one too. I've always had longer hair and would just love to go for it once and try something really different. I think it's awesome that you want to donate to 'locks'. Be sure to post your new look. I'll be dying to see it.

Katrina, I love the first one too but let me tell you my story just for another side...

I have had the same hairstyle for 25 years. It was down to my bra-strap(that's it's stopping point) and I really wanted one of those 'flip-up' cuts. So last May I bit the bullet and did it. Everyone loved it! I loved it, it took me 5 minutes instead of 1/2 an hour to do my hair. But DH HATED it. He literally did not speak to me for days. He still hates it and it's grown out about 4 inches since then. Also, I could not put it in a pony tail at all for a very long time (just an FYI) and it was about the same length that the first cut you are showing is because the pieces underneath are shorter and they will not go. Also, while I do love that style I do miss my long hair a lot of the time and add that to the fact that DH hates the new style has me stuck as to which way to go now, hence I haven't cut it in 6 months! LOL!

Anyway, I am sure you will be gorgeous if you do cut it but I wanted you weigh all your options. Although, I think just the donation part would do it for me! :)

i like the 1st and last. good luck with the cut. short hair is much easier to manage i think.

So maybe I'm missing something, but does nobody else totally adore Jessica Simpson's hair?! Cuz I'm now thinking about cutting my h air like that; think it'll make me look like her? Probably not, huh? :(

Oh, and about YOU, Katrina, I think you will look cute with any of them, and while I really am not a fan of Elisha's cut, I think SURELY you could pull it off better than she can.

Tony likes my hair very long, like Pam's DH. I told him last night while we were chatting that I wanted to cut my hair, he just made a loud noise LOL. My hair is SO thin it's awful, and long hair just does not look good on me, yet it's down to my braline again. After 10 minutes it looks stringy, just because it is so thin. My hair looks best when it's completely cut off, like SHORT but it grows so damn fast, I need it trimmed every two weeks, and you know I don't have time for that LOL.

I think either cut would look great, and being about to donate it is really really cool! Let me know what you're going to do!

LOL, Pam & Jamie. My DH likes my hair long too, but at least he doesn't stop talking to me when I cut it off (I do quite regularly, lol...I just get tired of it after a while). But my BIL wouldn't talk to my SIL (DH's sister) for a long time...she cut her hair off to really short just before they went on a cruise...when they got here, he was SO mad, he just wasn't talking to her, lol. I am sure he talked to her during the trip, but I'm guessing he didn't forgive her, lol.

Wow, I can't even imagine my DH not talking to me over a haircut. But then my philosophy is it's my hair, I have to take the time to do it so too bad for him. :D

I had my hair cut just like #1 for a couple of years in college. I actually find it really funny cause it is so much more popular now then it was then. It was really cute and fun but it did require me styling it everyday. My hair is longer now and I wouldn't say it takes me less time to do it - my hair is just thick and wavy so anything related to drying it takes forever, lol. I say go for it.

I'd go with #1 as well, if I were 200lbs lighter and didn't have such a square face. I think it'll look great on you though, Katrina!

My hair is literally the longest its ever been at just below the bottom of my bra strap. My mom always kept my hair not quite collar-bone length or shorter when I was younger, and then I was just too chicken to let it grow out. Then I got married, lol! I actually had my first hair cut in two years just a couple months ago. They guy barely cut anything off...but I hate it. I'm just going to keep letting it grow for now. I figure I'll cut some length when I need two boxes of hair color to cover everything. :D

I love number one too!! You can tell your gorgeous even from the side. I know it would work!! I cant wait to see the pictures!

I've chopped off my hair and donated it to that cause 3 times now.

The last time I did it, my fiancee was not that happy wtih it. I chopped it and highlighted it. He doesn't like my hair short or blonde, LOL! But it's my hair, and I'll do what I want with it. He's also gotten used to it. It's one of those "I hate short hair but I love the way my wife looks" kinda things.

Speaking of which, I need to make an appt for next week to get mine trimmed and highlighted again, lol.

Enjoy! I can't wait to see the pics!!

Oh and ps - while the back pieces aren't long enough to pull into a pony tail all the time, a lot of the time I pull just the front pieces back and use a clip. Still looks super cute, and it keeps it out of my face.

i am a hair cutting advocate! i hate it when people get stuck in a rut with their hair...hello it grows back! LOL i have had pocahontas long and halle berry in cat woman short! i love it all...definately consult to make sure it fits your face shape...then do it! you will love the change and hey if not...it grows back. =) i love that dramatic a-lined bob on top. i've had it and it's so easy to maintain and it's hawt!
