Shopping Struggles

Saaaame here, minus the four babies! :D I'm 5'4" also. Too bad we're not closer, or else we could share clothes! :p

I've been wanting to try LuLaRoe, but I can't find any consultants near me.

I would love that! I have been ordering all my LLR online. All of my consultants are amazing and have done exchanges when needed!

In May, I have to attend three weddings in two weekends. And another in June!:eek:

Oh man, I feel for you. It's fun to go to ONE wedding, but that many... it gets old. Hopefully you can use the same dress for a couple of them? Or are they all the same social circle?

All but one are the same circle of friends. I'm gonna have to get creative in my closet because there's no way I can handle (mentally or financially) shopping for that many dresses!

I love dresses... on other people :D
I dunno...I have a few in my wardrobe but I've never worn most of them.
I don't like stockings and hate the fact I need to wear them because I just can't do without it -- chub rub and stuff you know.
Another thing...It's hard for me to find good fitting dresses because of larger hips and smaller bust. And I have a tummy which I hate and most dresses don't hide it. Contour cuts? Thanks but no thanks :D
I've worn dresses on special events and I like how I look in them but, seriously, in my everyday I prefer trendy comfort than dresses no matter how cute/classy/pretty they look.
To be honest, I hardly see women wearing dresses on the streets here.
Last, but no least - I believe dresses look best on women with smaller waist and larger bust. AAand, since it's not the case with me, I avoid them.

Yes! I think I want a Madison skirt... but they look like they might be too long. I'm 5'2 and a half.

I'm only 5'2" and the Madison isn't terribly long on me - I ordered a size down to try to combat that. It's maybe a touch longer than I'd normally like but not terrible!

I struggle with dresses because of my belly pooch. I'm liking the Lularoe dresses and skirts I've tried. But that's just because they're stretchy and fairly forgiving.

I will openly say that I am plus size (working hard to change that) and the only things available to that size is big prints that says "Big Mama coming through get out of the way".

What is wrong with clothing manufacturers that they can't make clothes in varying sizes but not absolutely awful.
