Hi there,

Is it possible to pay for my shopping cart with a gift certificate and the rest with PayPal? I can't seem to proceed to payment for the subtotal... :crying:
 
yes you can Aud. It will use the totality of the gift card though. I don't think you can tell it I only want to use $10 off this $20 gift card for example.

so use the gift card first, then it should tell you how much is left to pay and you should be able to select the method of payment.

That's what I do, but when I select PayPal, a window opens and closes immediately, and when I click on credit card, nothing happens.
 
I'm having this same problem. After applying the end of a gift card to the total, clicking on "Debit or Credit Card" button to pay for the rest does nothing. I tried checking out in two different browsers, and on my phone. All the same result.
 
I am experiencing the same issue, so I have to write to our developer to see if they have a solution / can fix.

In the meantime, will you try checking out by applying the gift certificate and then choosing the Legacy Paypal payment option to finalize your order?

This would have worked, Robin, if I hadn't mucked up my paypal login and ended up canceling the transaction and returning to the shoppe. Now the shoppe no longer likes my gift card. :o

Gift certificate + PayPal didn't work for me.
I ended up making two separate shopping carts because I was afraid of missing out on the sale :D

I'm going to delete these Not Finished orders right now. Will you let me know if that fixes the issue with using the remaining GC balance on a new order?

This issue has been fixed. You should be able to check-out with our updated payment gateway while using a gift certificate, including applying multiple GCs to your order.

I can't wait to try this out! I've just waited for the gift card to process, then hit refresh on the browser to pick PayPal from there. I didn't realize it was a bug and not a feature!
