She's HERE! (my new laptop)

Woo hoo! I wasn't expecting her today, but my lovely new PINK laptop (affectionately named Lucille -- or Lucy for short) arrived today. I am SO stinkin' pumped! My old desktop was driving me nuts... soooooo slow.

Now I'm trying to get some files transferred and get everything installed. I'd planned to scrap today, but this is MUCH more fun.

LOL! Actually, La, they make tons of colors! I was so shocked. I felt a little silly paying extra for pink, but dangit... this is my 30th birthday present (a little early), so I'm trying to hold on to my youth.

I'll get a pic ASAP. As soon as I get everything installed!

Thanks guys! I'm having SUCH fun!!! I'm still working on getting things transferred over, but so far so good. I was scared to death of Windows Vista, but honestly, it hasn't been nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. Whew!

I never thought of naming my laptop, I think I shall call her Maxine....Congrats Libby, they came out with the colored one about a month after my hubby gave me mine and I joked with him and said I wanted to trade mine in...no go though!!!!I really want a PINK one too!!!!!
