Where the heck are you woman? I am sitting here making myself sick. My stomach is in knots and I am totally going to have an ulcer by 8 pm. If I don't throw up first. :blink:
 
I'm here, the kids are driving me crazy today lol so I haven't been able to be online much. Trying to get laundry caught up, both of Kyle's KU outfits that currently fit him are both dirty from Saturday's game so I must get them washed so he has something to wear for the game tonight lol! I've kept the TV off any channels that might be talking about the game so that helps a bit. Disney channel is pretty safe :p

Maybe if you throw up you'll feel better lol! Rob has to do one last parent teacher conference after school today, and I can't believe he even scheduled it for today of all days!

Abby has worn her jersey for every game.. she wore it to daycare today, and I explained to her that she cannot take it off tonight. She just rolls her eyes at me, but she complys. :thumbup: Oh and yes.. in that layout you asked about.. that is her jersey. Julian Wright's number, but hey it's hers.... LOL

I'm glad I am not at home watching tv, but we're not busy today, so I'm making myself crazy. LOL

another girl from ks, but i must admit i am a k-state fan..hahahah, anyway, we have a dang 4H meeting tonight! it starts at 7. I am thinking it is going to be a QUICK meeting for us...LOL hubby wants to get home and watch the game :) rock chalk jayhawks!!!!!

i must say that we ARE rooting for the hawks, even though we are cat fans at heart...lol

My boss is a Wildcat too. I brought him Saturday's sports page today. He told me to get it off his desk. Hah!!!
 
rotfl! we have a couple of hawk sweatshirts that ppl gave the kids so they are wearing them today. although we have way much more purple :D gabe tried to talk daddy into a hawk flag to hang on the porch and ummm that didn't fly...rotfl!!! what time does the game start anyway??
 
I actually had a sweatshirt that i wore during football and basketball that had a jayhawk inside the wildcats mouth. some ppl around town didn't find it very funny, but i LOVED it. i wish i had taken a pic of it...rotfl!
 
alright then. 30 min 4H meeting!!! i need to make choco chip cookies for the game. I am thinking the kids might stay up late tonight to watch depending on how they are acting...LOL!
 
omigosh, you guys are cracking me up! and I'm starting to feel nervous for you guys just reading this thread.

I remember waaaaaaay back when (like in 1989?) when the Univ of Michigan won and riots broke out. I stayed in my dorm room though :p, such a wimp am I.
 
Goooooo Kansas! OK, if I won this pool it could only be because of a miracle, but in my other pool I have Kansas so they better win. Then I won't have to take anything out of my cart to spend my sweet rewards. :)

Mimi, I so badly want to go to Lawrence tonight, and I might be going tomorrow for the welcome home. Everyone really behaved themselves Saturday night and I expect them to do the same tonight... Coach sent out an all school email asking them to show some class. :thumbup:
 
I dont' know if he will come back or not. I know his mom really wants him to for one more year. it is always hard to say anymore.

where are you at in KS anyway? i am in western/central depending on what you classify western or central...rotfl
 
Oh that would be so cool to go to Lawrence for the welcome home tomorrow!! Kyle's outfits are about ready to come out of the dryer so as soon as he wakes from his nap I can get him dressed for the game!! Just 4 more hours til tipoff!! Although it was a good thing I didn't dress him earlier cause I would have had to change him anyway after the diaper blowout he had!! What is it about boys that that always happens?? Ugh!

More eastern, I guess.. up in Olathe.. about 15-20 minutes from KC :)
 
Another KU fan here!! Rock Chalk Jayhawk!!

I went to architecture school there for a year (many moons ago), and that's where I met my dh. My ILs live in LeCompton, just outside Lawrence, so we visit often. Oh, it would be so fun to be there now!!
 
I don't know what you guys are all worried about... I'm already spending my GC from our pool cause Memphis is SOOOOO taking this. ;)

And Sara... girl, I did NOT know you were in Olathe! We try to get up that way once a year or so to visit some friends. Next time I'm up there, we'll have to hook up (unless you're still mad at me for taking your money. hee hee)
 
Side note: Watching Dicky V on ESPN absolutely cracks me up. He keeps touching Bob Knight, and one of these times Bob might just punch him in the face for it, lol.

Hahahahaha, Bob is now sitting with his arms crossed over his chest so Dick Vitale won't touch him! LOL!
