I wanted to gush about my dd she looked so beautiful and so happy up until we were getting ready to leave for her Senior Banquet. She got physically sick and almost couldn't stand. She was crushed to have to spend the day w/out her older sister.
I had to sit her down and talk with her she almost didn't make it to her big night.
My heart breaks for her b/c these are the moments that her big sister Charlie would go in and bug her. Then she would ask her for her opinion on hair, makeup and they'd laugh and make fun of the dumbest things while listening to music.
I am so glad that she said ok I'm ready let me go to this damn thing b/c i know she'd want me to have an amazing time.

Here she is :) looking all beautified

She's so beautiful! Was it just nervousness do you think? I'm glad she went even though she didn't feel well.

Thank you Jacinda, I asked her about the nerves part and she blurted out no and started sobbing.. It' started yesterday w/the Senior assembly and a slideshow of photos that they did. I picked her up from school early yesterday and then again today. It was a buildup she was holding in :|

Kay, Thank you :)

Mari she is soo beautiful and I know Charlie is looking down and smiling at her and all she has done :):hugs:

Mary!!! She is so beautiful!!

I'm so sorry that she's having a rough time with missing her sister! That couldn't have been an easy talk! I hope she's feeling better now and knowing Charlie will always be with her!

Gorgeous photos, I'm glad it worked out and she was able to go! Thanks for sharing your beautiful pictures!!

Oh she is such a sweetie. I hope she had a good time once she got there. I am sure Charlie was with her for her big night. (((hugs))))

Oh Mary, she's so beautiful and she looks so grown up! I'm glad she was able to make it--I'm sure that'll be an important story she'll love to tell down the road :)

Oh Mary, I'm sorry, I didn't read between the lines as good as I should have. I realise now the significance of Charlie not being there to share the day with her, and why she was upset. My heart goes out to you both. I hope she had a wonderful time nonetheless.

What a beautiful girl. So sad that Charlie couldn't be with her in the flesh, but she was with her, I'm sure. She is fortunate that she had a wonderful mom to be there and help her through, and I am sure that talk was hard for you too, Marnel. Bless you both.

Mary she's gorgeous! I'm glad she went. I'd expect her to feel the loss of Charlie on such an occasion. Hugs to you all, you've all shown such amazing strength and grace.

Thanks so much for sharing these photos!!! She looks breathtaking. What a gorgeous dress she chose! It sure is hard growing up.... So sorry she is missing her sister so much. :(

She looks beautiful! I am so glad she had a couple of girlfriends there to help her have some fun. Sending hugs to everyone. Glad you were able to talk to her and help her get through it a bit.

She does look beautiful! I'm glad she was able to go and enjoy herself. I can only imagine how hard it is to miss your older sister at times like these. HUGS to you all!

Thank you all for all the wonderful and sweet comments.
We were talking again today and my dd said that it hit her so hard b/c Charlie didn't get to do all of the things that she is now and she missed out on so much and she just felt bad b/c she should have got to enjoy it and it just wasn't fair :| She will def try to enjoy it twice as much for her and her sister :)
