The Ghost of Awesome Past
So over a month ago, HALF of my house lost power. Weird... so the electric company said that they would have to dig up my power line and fix it. Until it could get fixed they gave us this generator thing so we'd have power all over our house. But it's buggy and lights go dim and we can't run more than 1 electrical applicance at a time, etc. So, I called a few weeks ago to check on when they'd be out to fix it and they said be patient. Nobody came.
Then I called today to check again. They had NO RECORD of my problem. The customer service person said she'd put us on the list for DECEMBER. I wasn't happy. So, I take Logan to swim class and when I get back, the Electric Company is here (shock!) ... and my power is OFF.
And oh, I had FOUR Christmas cards nearly done that are now gone! :cursing: Because of course I didn't expect the Electric Company to show up in the 1 hour that I was gone when she said it would be December before someone came out.
So, to wrap up my saga... it is still NOT fixed. The guy will come back next week to try and find the broken underground power line. So, oh joy, I get to go through this some more. :cursing:
