~Sept/Oct/Nov book discussion-The Kitchen House~**Spoilers Inside**

I got the book, but I'm still trying to finish up my other book before I start this one though :) Excited to get started!
 
well i started but my kindle crapped out on me and I can't replace it right now....gonna have to buy the book to finish it.

so far so good though i think..I'm only a few chapters in though nothing major
 
I read it about a month ago & just peeked in here. I really liked it. Will discuss whenever everyone is ready.
 
I just started and am not sure yet... For those that loved it, I guess it gets better? Right now (chapter 3 only) the language is a little stilted, or maybe too colloquial in places based on the time and place of the story. Anyone else find the language difficult? Reminds me of Mark Twain.
 
I enjoyed it Liz, but read a translated version, so not sure about how it's originally written.
 
I'm going to answer my own question by saying it got WAY better, soon after the first few chapters. I am not done yet, but am on the edge of my seat biting my nails waiting to see what happens! I don't want it to end, which I always view as the sign if a really good read.
 
sorry I totally failed on this read..my kindle died and I just can't get back into reading without it...

Please those that finished the book though feel free to discuss and let us know how you liked (or disliked) it!

Not sure I'll continue the book club next year...interest kinda wound down and I just don't really have the time :)
