Scroll wheel on mouse in Photoshop........

mine got turned off somehow, so I can't zoom in and out of my LO with it, any ideas how to turn it back on?
It works other places, just not in Photoshop.

Mine stopped working completely a few months back. It'll work occasionally but only in a web browser never in PSP anymore. I never realized how much I loved it til it went away LOL
 
I'm pretty sure under Preferences there's a Zoom with Scroll Wheel option. Maybe make sure that's checked?
 
If you go to control panel and click on the mouse icon (under classic view) There will be a "wheel" tab at the top of the box that pops up :)

...you can also go into Device Manager- choose mouse and "right click", choosing "uninstall". It'll uninstall the settings you have on it now and automatically reinstall it back to manufacture settings so it should work again :)
sounds scary to do, but when the scrolls on my laptop stopped working, I did that and they worked right after. You may have to download the drive from your computer's manufacture site after if they don't automatically reinstall :)

Ah, I looked there but missed it somehow....found it! Thanks Lynnette....have no idea how that got turned off LOL!
 
YES I LOVE this feature. glad you figured it out. with my first version of PSE, it was automatically set to do that... but with the recent ones, it's not.... probably why many of you never knew that(ps or pse)! Some things, I'm not sure why it's not the default setting.
