Scrapping Motivation

I have heard a lot of people say they start by looking at digital and paper layouts on Pinterest.

I go through my To Be Scrapped photos & my To Be Used kits and match them up together. I also might go through and match up templates when I know I have a big set of coordinating photos.

I call it pre-scrapping. :)

I go to pinterest and look for layouts. Then I look at recipes, and crafts, and clothes, and some kitten pictures...that's about how that ends up for me

I organize photos or scrap supplies. Sometimes I end up finding something I want to scrap with right away, and if not I still made my future scrapping easier.

Try the bingo challenges, or have a look throught the gallery. There ar so many awesome layouts in this gallery so you're sure to find something to motivate you.

I look back through old pictures, from before I started digi-scrapping. I have paper layouts for some of them, but I have way more pics than pages. Sometimes, I will be inspired by something from years ago and scrap it! I also like to look through my supplies, see what I haven't been using, and try to use it, even if I just delete it in the end.

I have a folder of kits I have purchased and haven't used yet. Often that inspires me to make a layout. Otherwise I look at a document I keep on my laptop where I list pages I want to make (events, particular photos etc). Usually one of those two methods gets me going... and when in doubt, a bit of caffeine! ;)
