scrapbook magazines

Do yall subscribe to a certain scrapbook magazine? If so, which one is your favorite? Do you think it is worth the money for a subscription? I am thinking about subscribing to one and I am curious to see what you ladies have to say!

Right now I just get DAM and am loving it! :) I used to get Digital Scrapbooking Magazine but I wasn't very impressed with that whole year of magazines so I didn't renew my subscription with them.

I actually still love BH&G Scrapbooks, Etc.. It was my favorite before I switched to digi, and I still love it. DAM is great, too, but I still love a physical magazine that I can take with me to the park, or to a playscape while the boys play, or have in the car handy for waiting times.

I currently subscribe to Creating Keepsakes, Simple Scrapbooks, and I think Scrapbooks Etc., and Digital Scrapbook Magazine.

I love CK and SS, but won't be renewing the other 2 subs.

I subscribe to CK and will soon be doing Scrapbooks Etc, because I really like that one. I like the paper scrapping mags, because even though the tips for supplies don't apply to me, there is still GREAT inspiration!

I had CK for a while, but their customer service is the worst of any magazine I've ever subscribed to, and I would like something that covers digiscrapping more. Most of the good digiscrapping ones are e-zines, though, and I like something to hold in my hands. So basically, I haven't found one I really like. lol

I can't remember if I got my S etc last month. I feel like I might have missed a renewal. I do like that one though.

I'm going nuts. I just read what shows up in mailbox and send back when it tells me it's going to end soon, LOL!

I sub to Scrapbooks Etc (although I didn't get the Aug/Sep issue :glare:). I like to have a physical mag in my hands.

I still miss Scrapbook Answers :crying:.

My library has paper crafts, creating keepsakes, and some other mags. I pick them up there the month after they are current (I can check out magazines just like books..) voila! No having to pay for magazines I only read once or twice... and if I LOVE an idea or image, I can go online, usually find it or photocopy if I have to! *LOL* I don't have money for magazines. :)

I get Creaking Keepsakes, Simple Scrapbooks, Scrapbooks etc., DAM (from here), BellaScraps Magazine, Card Trends, Paper Trends, Scrapbook Trends sometimes, Papercrafts and something else but I can't remember what it is

I subscribe to Scrapbooks, Etc and have had a sub to Scrapbook Trends, but it's so expensive I had to let it go. I would like to get that one back along with Paper Trends and Cards. Canadian Scrapbooker is another one I'd like to sub to, but it's so expensive (they're more like idea books than ad magazines like CK and SS). I *should* get a sub to CK, because I pick them up every month, but I've heard such horrible things about their customer service and subscription service, that I never have.

I tried subscribing to DSM back when it was just changing hands, and I was one that got lost in the shuffle. I emailed them to ask to subscribe for the original price, and they never replied. I've picked up one or 2, but that magazine is really disappointing - by the time they publish it, the "trend" they're promoting has come and gone - you just can't work on that sort of publishing schedule and expect to keep up with the digi community.

I subscribe to Simple Scrapbooks...not the digital version but the paper version. I think it's totally worth it for me....I get tons and tons of inspiration from it. I can usually find 10 to 12 "submissions" that I want to lift every issue. I just recently picked up a Memory Maker mag and I love it too...think I'm gonna ask "Santa" to get me a subscription to that one for Christmas!!!

I did have a subscription to Digital Scrapbooking Magazine - which I found REALLY disapointing. There isn't any reason why they couldn't have freebies *sometimes* (all the other scrap mags do!) or more visual examples (there seemed to be lots of text, less photos) and well, since everything is written for photoshop, it was a pain to try and 'translate' so I could try tutorials. Basically, there was maybe one idea per issue that i liked, but going to any good gallery would give me the same inspiration.

I was just wondering this, too.

I get Simple Scrapbooks and Digital Scrapbooking magazine.

I like SS, because I get a lot of ideas from it. DSM, I could do without. I've been a subscriber since the beginning, and each time I get it, I'm more and more disappointed in it.

I get CK -- I lift layouts from there all the time. I actually like it because it's different from what you see online. Of course, I love browsing online galleries, but it's nice to see what the paper people are up to also!

I still miss Scrapbook Answers :crying:.

That was my absolute favorite! I miss it too. I still have mine.:o

I currently subscribe to CK and I pick up SB etc every month at the store. I will be subscribing to Etc as soon as I can talk someone into paying for it.

I just re-subscribed to Card Trends and got the Paper Trends for free.

Also, I hear lots of people saying that CK is full of adverts but I actually like the adverts - I find them really inspirational (especially the Doodlebug ads)

I get DSM and buy most of the others at the store. I don't really like DSM but I figure if I am going to just pick it up in the store, I might as well subscribe so I get it for way less than store prices.

I love Scrapbook Trends but can't afford it most of the time... Scrapbooks Etc. and Memory Makers are my two faves.

I used to get CK, Memory Makers, Paper Crafts & Scrapbooks Etc but they all ran out and I have to decide which two I want to re-new. I am getting tired of paying full price at the store so which two should I pick is the big Q? Def gonna do Scrapbooks Etc and probably MM....I am getting a bit tired of all the ads in CK
