Scrap Til You Drop

You might have seen layouts from me over the years that mention the laughter we share in our family. Well, one thing that I find humorous is my husband's reference to the events we have here. He knows I've been hosting a Party Game-A-Day challenge ( PGAD: February 4 - Pinterest Birthday Board ) and just asked me a moment ago, "How's Scrap Til You Drop going?" :D He calls every event and celebration we have here "Scrap Til You Drop."

I love that title! That will be a great page.

My hubby is so sweet about different online activities (mostly iNSD and DSD). He usually has me set up with all kinds of food that I don't have to cook. I made this layout about all the food he bought one year.

Haha :D In my house, it's...

Everyone: I thought your birthday was last month
Me: No that was Advent Calendar.
Them: I thought last month was Scrapbook Day.
Me: No that was Digital Scrapbook Day.
Them: They're different?
Me: Yes. It's been 20 years... you guys should know this.
Them: Hums the Jurassic Park theme

I think I would prefer Scrap Til You Drop for everything LOL :D

I get, "Didn't you just do that?" Yes, yes I did. And, I'm doing it again. I don't bother saying anything any more. I just shut my door and ignore people.

That is so sweet, Cheryl! He sounds very thoughtful!

That's awesome! And appropriate! ;) ;)

I agree! :D

That's so funny. I feel like they said things like that to me years back. Maybe that's why he switched to Scrap Til You Drop. :D

Ha! :D I'm sure he thinks I have something "special" going on in my scrapping world every month. lol

Ha! That's funny! It's interesting to see how our hubby's view scrapbooking! ;)

Yes, it is. :D He knows that sometimes it means I'm NOT playing a boardgame with them. They have a ton of games that are 2 player, though. So they carry on. :p

That's funny! Cheryl how wonderful for your husband to be so good at understanding and getting in good food options.

I generally stock up on stuff that others can sort meals without bothering me, but that's generally how I like to do it every week regardless of the scrapbooking!

My husband is so funny. He's requested I put any live scraps on *his* Google calendar to make sure that I get to attend. And my son will come by my desk to offer his unsolicited input on the pages (ex: needs more hearts, needs more red, delete that now). They know there's usually some good challenges going on and that I get up early for some uninterrupted scrapping time when I can.

I love reading all of your hubby/family responses to your scrapping. For the most part, mine is preoccupied with his work. When our boys were still home, I'd sometimes ask them for advice on my layouts when I couldn't make a decision.

My hubby is supportive when I have in-person crops (I call them "crafty days" now because we have ladies who do other crafts). He helps get things set up. When the kids were young, he would take them out for the day or play with them at home.

This is so sweet.

Reading all these posts is making me smile! Scrap Til You Drop is pretty accurate - especially when I had to finish 10 LO's in the last 2 days of December to stay in the running for the yearly challenge!

That's funny, Charlene. My boys and my husband always say, "Don't you have some scrapBOOKing to do?" with an emphasis on the "booking" which they find hilarious for some reason.

They just don't get it, but every one in a while, they'll stop at my computer and ask, "hey, when was that picture from?" or "where was that?" or " I remember that!"
