Scrap Stacks

Who all will be joining / participating at Scrap Stacks - just curious. I joined - but am almost overwhelmed as to the amount of uploads - can't keep up! Perhaps it is because it is new? I have a hard enough time keeping up here - as my time is very limited lately. I think here just needs to be my "home"!! ;)

I think it's just busy because it's new... once everyone gets all their layouts and products uploaded it will slow down to people only stacking new things :)
 
I will participating. I love pinterest and it is a scrapbookers pinterest type site. I think I will like it. Haven't played around in there too much. Hopefully this weekend I will have time to figure it all out. It looks amazing. I am so excited about it.
 
I signed up for the newsletter and am planning on checking it out and getting familiar with it this weekend. I like the idea of a "scrappers pinterest" type site. :)
 
Jen (an anyone else who is wondering), Scrap Stacks is a new site that is basically like Pinterest but specifically for scrapbooking. I'm really excited for it - I think it will be full of amazing inspiration. Right now, you can only join by invitation, but it will open up to everyone in November I think.

I have a few invites to use if anyone wants one. Just send me your email address, and I'll hook you up. :)
 
I know this is a really lame question but what is the url for it? I googled and I only come up with lots of etsy links.... maybe I've been under the rock wayyyyy too long :-)
 
I feel so left out. : ( At least I'm in good company. I signed up for the newsletter. Will I get in faster with an invite?
 
It's a fab idea to have one that is digiscrap-only! :-)

Not joining, since with FB, G+, SSD and my own website I'm pretty time-consumed anyway (and yeah, there's my old worry about sharing, but that's totally OT here), but I really like the idea behind the site. Enjoy yourselves, ladies!
 
Thanks Jacinda! The link in your email takes me to the site, but it won't let me register or sign up, so I'm not sure what to do - LOL. Maybe I still have to wait before I can actually register, but I am able to look around and check it out :thumbup:

A Pinterest-like site for scrapbooking? What a great idea!! Many thanks to Penny (yes, our own Penny Springmann) to starting it up!

The url is http://scrapstacks.com. It did come up in a Google search for me, but it was on the middle of the page.

Marie, another way to get an invite is to sign up for the newsletter and you'll be added, although it will take a few days.

If you sign up for the newsletter, Penny is sending out invites from it. After the weekend calms down now that the news is out about the site, it will settle down. It's an amazing gallery that will be full of scrappers from around the world and around disciplines - paper, digital, hybrid, projects, memory keeping, etc. This is the best thing to hit scrapbooking in a very long time.

Those of you who've been around for awhile - remember how game-changing DST was? This is even better !

I LOVE the idea of this because well, i'm not very DIY-er and this is more my speed LOL
 
I just adore this idea!!! And I love that I can follow those who's styles speak to me!

For those using it already... how are you organizing your pages? I'm a bit hesitant to get started loading my layouts because I don't know how i want to organize them... my pinterest account is out of control and I don't want that to happen here. :D

oh - yes, PM if you need an invite, too.... I have 5...
 
If you've been sent an invite, it should be emailed to you... check your spam folder... Mine went there for some reason. I also have invites to hand out but I won't be able to until I get home from this mini vacation DH and I are on this weekend.
