Scrap Stacks Categories

How do I add a category to my layouts when/once I upload a layout to Scrap Stacks? I mean like the "vacation" or "all about me" etc.

Anybody know?

Isn't it part of the upload process? There's a list you can scroll through when you first enter the details of your layout. I use to be able to choose one category per layout.

Oops, nevermind - it's not there anymore - apparently I've been away from Scrapstacks long enough for the upload process to completely change. Sorry Kellie!

When you click on the ADD+ key click on create a stack and you can create all the stacks you want with whatever titles you want :) HTH!

I don't mean my own stacks, I mean the categories that SS has. You know, when you click on "Everything" there is a huge list of categories, but I can't figure out how to add those categories to my layouts.

You can only have one category per stack. So, you choose that category when you set up the stack. Then when you add a scrap to that stack, it will automatically be assigned the category that is assigned to the stack. The way categories work completely changed when they did the site rebuild. You can edit your stacks to go see what category you have assigned to each one.

Basically - you can't do it per individual scrap anymore. Which stinks because it means all my pages are listed as ct layouts and general scrapbooking.

Bummer. I don't organize my own layouts by categories in my Stacks, just a stack for my own layouts, so then I guess I can't really use the categories. That does stink, but I'm sure I'll live.

Thanks for answering me, girls!

this is why I changed my stacks and reorganized them, so I no long have them by creative teams but now have them by names that are similar to the categories... it's pretty easy to reorganize and didn't take me long to move my layouts around to my new stacks that are organized by category
