This is the site everyone likes right? I *thought* that I had used them before. I bought a Groupon for them a while back and just now got my photos sent in.

I got an email saying they are processing orders in 4-8 WEEKS!!! I'm shocked! If this is the same company I used before, they did like a 24-hour turnaround and I got them back within a week. That's why I'm going...is this a different company?

Anyone dealt with them recently?
 
I believe I used the same company over the summer(thru Groupon). Yes, they did take a long time. I guess it's the trade-off of the groupon. They get so many orders that the turn around time suffers as a result.
 
Yes, I remember it taking a while. I did a Groupon thing also -- maybe it takes longer for those because of the volume?
 
I've only ever used them with a Groupon and like I said, the first time the turnaround was about a week. Plus, I bought this second Groupon back in September, so they should be caught up by now. :( Very disappointed - I probably never would have sent my photos off if I had known it was going to take that long. I could have scanned them myself as I wanted to use them.

I won't be recommending them anymore, that's for sure.
 
I did this last year, and the turn around was MUCH faster than that - I seem to think it was a week or two. Hopefully, yours will be done much sooner than they predict.

I'm guessing your groupon didn't cover priority vip scanning.
 
Bumping this thread up to say, I got my box back today - 8 weeks to the day of when they received them.

While I'm very thankful to have my photos back safe and sound, and I'm glad I now have a digital copy of them, I will not be using this service again. That is just way too long for my photos to be gone and it means they were sitting around somewhere for weeks without anyone touching them. Too much possibility for something to happen to them.
 
I agree, Mary. That seems like a crazy long time! I'm glad you got them back though. Are there other services who work more quickly?
