I came across this post on Facebook the other day, and I just loved the message behind it so much! I thought it was particularly relevant to us scrapbookers since it focuses on taking photos. Sharing with you guys to get your week started on a positive note. :) Have a great day, everyone!

I have a girl on my FB who I swear weekly makes comments about people and their selfies (being a bad thing) it makes me SO mad!

I feel like by now, everyone has heard this story, but I was once unfriended and blocked on FB by a co-worker because I was posting my weekly SSD Project Love Me selfies, and I guess she got sick of seeing them. I don't know why selfies bother some people so much, but whatevs. I do what I want! :p

Man - that's sad. I saw a post recently - wish I could find it from a friend that basically said they were glad people posted selfies all the time, they could google what the sky looked like, or what a steak dinner looked like, or a famous person looked like even but could not google what their friends looked like that day and how they were doing - I had never thought about it like that (I don't mind selfies at all, actually kind of love them from everyone) but thought that was such a neat perspective

I have a few friends that get so annoyed by people, but it's honestly never bothered me to see people posting on FB. If it did, I'd just hide them, lol. I'm not personally a big poster, but I enjoy seeing what everyone else is up to.

awww I love that!! With all the cattiness you see on Facebook, people complaining about too many photos, etc. that was a very nice post! I do love seeing belly photos, not so much selfie photos (especially with the kissy lips or the angry face), but I always admire how they put themselves out there taking a photo of themselves! I wish there was more "it's okay to photograph or talk about scenarios, but sadly people don't want to deal with it. Thank you for sharing this, I really love it!

Love it and totally agree it makes me sad how many people think hiding behind a computer screen is justification to bully. And that's all that rude or uncalled for comments are, flat out bullying,! My mom always said if you can't say anything nice do not say anything at all ... The world would be a better place if we all tried to respond like that.

Nice! I don't really get the selfie hate, I wish I were more comfortable in front of the camera. I know my mom and my kids wish they had more pic with me in them.

Haha this is me when we go somewhere, not so much with selfies but say at the zoo, I almost never take photos of any animals, I take photos of the kids and their reactions etc. I can google a photo of a tiger, its not like they dont all look the same!

Everyone thinks I'm crazy.
