saving for printing

When you save your layouts for printing as JPG's, what sort of size do you save them at to make sure print quality is good. I have been saving mine at 4mb but was wondering if I could get away with doing them smaller?

I'm not sure what size mine are, but I save at quality level 10.

12x12 inches, quality level anywhere from 10-12, 300 dpi... mine all seem to be between 6-10 MB depending on the amount of colors/shadows/details in the LO. Hope this helps.

yeah, I don't know the size either... I have at 9-10 12x12, but print at 8x8...

The MB will change with the size of photos and layers in your file. I always save between 8-10 at 300 dpi. (which is 3600x3600 pixels for a 12x12)
Creating and saving as a 12x12 will allow you to print anything smaller without losing detail. (ie, 8x8)

I save mine between 10-12 at 300 dpi and then print 8x8.

I save mine at the highest quality at 300 dpi. I print 9x9.
