sad post about maddie-kinz

Aw! Lizzy, I feel bad for her. But I am glad they figured out why. Did she need antibiotics, or steroids?

thank you everyone for you love! really, the love and support on this board is amazing!

just since i posted this her eye's are looking better, your prayers are working! :)

*heather, they gave her a high dose of benadryl, tylenol and ceftin 250 twice a day for 10 days, just in case there was a serious underlying infection.

poor baby :( I know how bad that is, Naomi had periorbital cellulitis last December. I hope she feels better soon!

Oh, poor girlie! :( Get well soon, Maddie!

The weird viral stuff hitting everyone up around these parts is making me want to hide in my house and never come out. Did you know that vertigo is viral? I didn't. My adult niece got that at the end of summer and is just getting over it. There's nothing they can do for it so you just have to ride it out, and it has been downright awful for her!... like suddenly all of WalMart is spinning, she's completely disoriented, losing her balance and uncontrollably vomiting in the aisle... good times! My nephew has this bizarre pimply rash on his butt. It's viral, something only kids can get and, get this, he could have it for up to 2 frickin' years! Apparently the only thing you can do is apply clear nail polish to each spot on his butt. Sounds weird, but the doctor said the lack of oxygen at the site alerts the body to go heal that spot.

Poor Maddie though! That is truly bizarre and looks so painful. I hope she's over it asap! {{{HUGS}}} Maddie!

Poor little thing! I hope she feels better soon!

Benjamin got strep, but instead of it being in his throat, he somehow got it on his skin on his face instead. What a mess the poor little guy was in. So I totally know how you feel. He missed an entire week of school because he was so contagious.

((hugs))

UPDATE: maddie is doing much much better just in the few hours since i originally posted. she is really hoping to get to school tomorrow to get caught up on her advanced math (oye...this sweet child. lol!). i think it's def a possibility. keep your fingers crossed that this thing continues to heal quickly!! thanks so much again for all the well wishes. knowing that so many of you have had her in your thoughts and prayers really takes the burden off!! HUGS!!!!
