Sorry if i'm not around much everyone, i've been in a "zone" the last couple days and just empty feeling. We found out yesterday that my grandma has cancer in her rib. She had a consoaltation today to see where to go next. That if they could cut the rib out or just start chemo. Well i called mom 2 minuets ago and they told her Grandma has cancer in her lungs and she has an MRI tonight at 9:15 to see if it's in her brain. If it hasn't spread she going to start chemo. when (if) it shrinks it then they'll cut it out. She didn't say what they'd do if it didn't shrink. So i'd really appreciate any and all thoughts,prayers, good vibes you got. My grandma is the glue that holds the family together. I'm just in and out of tears since we found out.

Oh Brandy, I'm so sorry.....cancer is just so terrible....wishing lots of strength for you and your family.
 
I feel you, Brandy. When I found out my grandma had pancreatic cancer a couple years ago, it was difficult, especially when they recommended that she did not have chemo. They said her quality of life would be terrible given her age. So she opted not to have it even if it extended her life. She ended up really enjoying the last months of her life - seeing her family often, eating as much ice cream and cookies as she wanted, writing her life's memories and stories. I wish the best for you and your grandmother, I hope that things turn out better than they look right now.
 
Thanks guys. This is really tough for us because we lost my great grandma (her mom) to full body cancer in 2001 and we had a feeling that she might not make it much longer (while she's a fighter she is dealing with cronic enphazima and chronic bronchitis) but we never imagined it'd be this way.
 
Oh My Gosh Brandy, I am so sad to hear this. I am sending big hugs to you and my prayers will be with you throughout. Please give her my best and tell her I am thinking of her.

Thanks everyone. we really appreciate it (i was telling mom about it and she was so greatful and in tears she says thanks so much)
