Sad day at my house

Spring cleaning at my house today, and I decided to pack up the toys that my youngest doesn't play with anymore. So my baby is gone, and I won't have any more....:(

After I packed up all of the Fisher Price Little People and hauled them all out to the shed, I found one last person, so he will live in my room for a while

my daughter, who is 12, was watching me when I found the last Little person and started to tear up, she just looked at me like I was crazy!

Conni, you should do a layout about that one little person! I know I would. That's so sad....a little ways off for my household and I'm still dreading it!

I cleaned up a few of the baby toys around here last week. It was so sad to know that I won't be having anymore babies around here (at least planned babies, LOL). I still have a lot of toys I can't give away yet.

That is so sad :( We're doing some of that with clothing and I'm getting ready to do the toys when I put my two boys together in one room...

for some reason I have a very hard time getting rid of toys.

my son said he was done with this Thomas the Tank Engine stuff and I kept asking him, "Really? Are you sure? You don't want it anymore? Really?" I thought he'd want that stuff forever. But now he wants to sell off all his Thomas stuff.

I can so relate right now, not with the toys but just with the whole getting older thing. It really hit me how much lily is growing up when we brought lucas home, and then there is lucas who is just getting bigger everyday and the days just are going by so quick. WAY too quick. :(

They do grow fast. And it is sad when we let one stage go and move to the next. How do you get time to stop? LOL...

Oh I am so sorry. I just parted with all my baby stuff a couple of months ago and it was really hard, but desperately needed and it benefited a few families so that helped me some.

I got to save some of my baby stuff for my niece to play with so it is not too bad for me...she will be growing out of the stuff soon and I will have to get rd of it so it will be sad then.....

Ooh not the Little People... my girls are VERY into Little People (and I guess I am a little bit too :p)... I don't know what I'll do when I have to pack those adorable little guys away. :(

Oh, I know thay are so cute and easy for the little ones to play with. I am not getting rid of them, I told the kids they will be here for their kids to play with

That's always one of a momma's hardest jobs... Giving/throwing away your little ones clothes and toys... I'm so glad I don't have to do that anytime soon.

I know when that day comes at my house I'm going to blubber like a baby! When I took my DS for his 2 year old pictures I just started bawling when I saw the previews because he looked like a little boy and not a baby anymore. I know the Target Photographer thought I was crazy!

You are more proactive that I am - I just today got rid of some toys from my 15 yr olds closet - talk about denial -

I know how you feel. I'm going through the same thing, but with DD1. She's turning 5 this summer and I have to shop in the girls' section now! *Sniff* No more toddler section for her!
