S/O - So what do you LIKE about your Scrap Style?

My journaling. I journal from my heart and aften TO my girls, or hubby or myself. It's very theraputic.

My use of pattern papers. I love patterns and it may take me a while to get it "just right" but I think each page reflects me as a person and who I am scrapping about. I.LOVE.PATTERNS. And I am often sad to NOT see bold patterns in a kit.

So what do you like about the way you scrap?

I can't think of any one thing that I like, but I generally love my layouts once I'm finished. There are a few that I finished just because I was sick of looking at them, and definitely while I'm working on my pages I wonder what the heck I'm doing, lol. But USUALLY when they're done I like them. Just can't pick out what stands out to me in them.

Hmmm, they way I write and the way I capture pictures to form a story - it may not be the best pictures but I got to capture them and preserve them in a page.

I like that I just kinda "do my own thing" I really have a hodge podge style and that fits me perfect.

I usually like my use of patterned papers and my titlework. My shadows have gotten much better too.

I think I am still trying to find my style. Not sure if that will ever happen. LOL I am just so RANDOM!

I love to journal, and I know I'm a good writer, so it makes me happy to include something I'm good at on my pages that also make them much more personal to my life and me. While 100s of other scrappers may own the kit I use, no one else will have my journaling, kwim?

My shadows are getting better. Thank goodness for Megs' and Katie's styles. *lol*

I love layering and using lots of patterned papers. I'm a patterned paper fiend sometimes I make entire layouts without using any solids b/c I love patterns so much LOL :P.

I like my photos, shadows, use of elements, extractions, blending and usually (but not always) my overall compostion :)

Hmm... good question... I'm usually thinking what I don't like... :)

I guess I like that in the end it just all seems to pull together, like magic...

I like my journaling. I just wish I could get it down with fewer words. I have a tendency to ramble.

Every layout is different for me. I might like the photos in some, clusters in another, color and paper choices or shadows...I sometimes like all of these things in one single layout too...but more often than not, it's just one or two of these.

I think I have a good sense of space, a knack for title work, and a way with words. I also love letting the colors and style rather than the kit pieces influence me, allowing me to pick and pull from lots of different kits.

I think I'm Steph's polar opposite. I do NOT like busy patterns (as you can probably tell from most of my kits), but I also don't like just plain ol' solids most of the time (which you can also tell from my kits LOL). I like subtle patterns and blends that create interest without being distracting.

mostly i like my composition. i think in the end i settle them out to at least have pretty good composition. i also like the silliness i put into a lot of layouts, i know my family will appreciate that looking back on their books. :)

I do like my shadows - they might not be the "best" out there, but they look realistic when printed, so I'm happy! I also like my titlework and that I'm getting better with my layering. I also am very proud of my pages when I'm done, so thats good :)!

A lot has changed with my scrapping in the past few months and I actually like my layouts now. I really like my shadow work and most of my title work. I've really liked clustering and layering lately...and of course the oodles of journaling I do. I scrap for memories and a lot of journaling is how I accomplish that.

I'm really happy with my journaling. It's pretty rare when I don't have tons to say about a LO! LOL! I'm also pretty happy with my photography. I may not have the most "technically" perfect photos, but I feel like I more often than not get the really good candid shots.

I am pretty happy with my shadows and my use of whitespace I guess....I am pretty eclectic so I dont' even feel like I have a real style or anything, lol! But I'm a clusterer and I am ok with that...most of the time! :D :D :D

I am proud of the fact that I am journaling now too. :)
