My husband likes to make fun of my randomness....
so....
today's thought was....
do you ever count your steps when you walk?

I often do this, but unintentionally. my mind is always going and I guess this is just one of those things.

anyone else?

no lol...but I do some other random stuff
since I work in a lab and I have a phlebotomy cart (which has all of my tubes and supplies in it) and when I go to fill of each tube drawer I have to be able to get the WHOLE flat of tubes(100) in the drawer or it drives me nuts to have an "open" box of tubes in m y spare drawer(a different drawer) LOL!

Unless it's going up or down stairs. Then I do it. And it's OK under those circumstances. :D

I don't count steps, but I have a hard time stepping on the cracks sometimes (you know don't wanna break my mama's back :) )

I love your weirdness. I don't do this but I have a whole list of crazy that is just mine for sure. LOL

OMG Tracy........that is one of mine! Just say no to crack! LOL

I don't count steps . . . I just count. And, then when I hit some random number that my brain has settled on, I start over. It's one of my OCD tendencies. I have a handful of them. :)

No... but I spell things. Not just in my head I use my finger and trace the letters on my leg or arm over and over and over. It drives John crazy. lol

I do this in my head while counting how many times your pencil would change direction. Even I realize the craziness of this. O_o

I trace letters mentally...if that makes any sense. I also count telephone poles as a passenger in a car, and I have to stop at a multiple of 3  I am sure I have more, but can't think of any this early in the morning. lol

Oh, and I talk to myself A LOT. I do it at the grocery store when I am shopping by myself...I talk myself through new tasks, I talk to myself when I am home alone and no one will hear how crazy I am ;)

I count sometimes.... but I do count steps... which is funny. I work for a stair manufacturer. I also try not to step on the cracks in sidewalks. I'm weird sometimes when walking... I have one step in one sidewalk box, and then 2 in the next sidewalk box... lol. I guess it's so I don't walk on the cracks.

I also talk to myself a lot! :) randomly... all over... all the time. It's like if I hear it, I will remember it better, or it will make more sense... or it will sound better when I have to actually say whatever it is I'm talking about... or to whom... lol!

No, I haven't counted steps... however if I'm driving on a straight boring road that has a lot of filled cracks, I will try to guess if the length of my car will fit between the two filled cracks... yes, that is how I entertained myself driving back and forth from college... now I just scream at other drivers for not using blinkers... :D

My hubby is an air writer... he will use his pointer finger and "write" in the air as he is thinking... drives me nuts.

No, I don't. But my mom does. And the first time she was in our house she counted our stairs. Even though she told me, and I have probably since counted them myself, after living here 20 years, I could not tell you how many steps are in our stairs.

I count on stairs...but in a way weird way. "One two three hit...one two three hit..." It comes from high school marching band and marching in lines. Either your line or the other
line hits the 10 yard line on every fourth step. I know that probably makes no sense though...

Nope. I'm too busy imagining flying away on a private jet with our husband JT to think abt step counting, LW.:p

Never have counted my steps walking or on stairs. I couldn't tell you how many stairs there are in my house. I have my share of quirks though. :)
