One girl here. And no more coming. After a 43 hr labor/delivery, I insisted that DH get neutered LOL. He got the snip 6 weeks after Rachel was born.
Now I kind of wish we'd waited on that, because I'd love another baby, but we honestly can't afford another anyway. So it's for the best IMO.

You hear from me just how stressed I get at times with 3 boys...and soon you will see it in PERSON...and you will be so happy you have one little angel! :p You'll be able to spoil her with 100% attention and not have to ever be divided.

I love my boys...but there are days...where I understand why mothers in the wild eat their offspring! ;)

My boys are 20 (gasp! he will be 21 in December! I was just filing his baby things away in a chrono folder TODAY!) ... 15 and 14 ... and I have no desires for any more babies.

I had looked forward to this time to be able to scrap like crazy and get caught up... but now I am homeschooling and it slows me down (if you can count 500 layouts a year slowed down) ... but I will use the time to catch up until it's grandbaby time ...but since none of the boys have even gone out on a first date or had a girlfriend...it might be awhile. Just get my oldest through COLLEGE first please!!!

First, I just have to say that I applaud you all, from those that have 2 to 6 kids! I have one son who is 17 1/2 and starting his senior year in two weeks. We had his grad pictures taken today and toured the Communications Dept. of the University of Wisconsin Superior (which is only 1.5 miles from our house :) ) today. He was 12 lbs when he was born (yes, he was compared to everything...a bowling ball, a turkey, two babies, etc.) and I wasn't going there again. He went home in 6-9 mo. clothing. I had an emergency C-section after 11.5 hours of induced labor. When my doctor measured me that morning, he said, "maybe we have a 12-pounder here," and we did!!

We have been very lucky and have the son that is the exception to every rule...he's polite, smart, sweet, kisses his mom and dad goodnight every night, and just became an Eagle Scout who really does live by the scout oath and law.

I feel like I am one of the older ones here at age 42! You all have such young children :) I love seeing their pictures in your layouts!

Eeeeeeek Stephanie....12 pounds...now that's a bouncing baby boy!!!!

We have 3 children and for us...it's the perfect number. So the Feebee Baby Bakery is shut for business :)

Oh and BTW Stephanie...you're not THAT old...I'm only a couple of years behind you :)

Fee :)

I WANT A DAUGHTER! {falls to floor, flails arms and kicks legs}

But if I get pregnant again, I am pretty sure I will quickly become a single mother because NObody is gonna wanna live with pregnant me. Not even me.

So we are going to start the adoption process while we are home next fall. :)

Deb, you should look into adoption out of the Philippines. Filipinos make BEAUtiful babies. Have you seen Aggie & Jacq's children??? I want my very own Iyah. :)

2, one boy, one girl and we're done :)

This is just wrong. WRONG, Misty. People who make babies as cute as yours are should never quit blessing the world.

2 girls here and we are done done done!!
We were slow out of the blocks and pregnency after 40 wasnt an appealing thought after those collicky, sleepless nights at 39!!
They are now 13 and 10 and the thought of 50 and pregnant provokes a decidely inferior image than the previous one at 40!

I totally applaud all of you who are looking into adoption. I'm adopted myself and have always supported anyone who ever has thought about it. Adoptive parents are a special, special breed.

We have 2 lovable maniacs (1 girl and 1 boy :) ), both planned and now we're done. I had a ruptured tubal pregnancy in between my 2 full term ones. That baby was a surprise and a scary experience that almost killed me. Had my remaining tube tied immediately after they delivered Camden via c-section. I sometimes wish we could have another just because I loved being pregnant, but that's just me having baby fever. I know that our family is truly complete.

Yes, we have. And yes, they have GORGEOUS kids!! :) But, Philippines requires you to be at least 27. That's 3 more years for me. We don't want to wait that long. But, maybe in the future! :) I'd love to adopt more than one!

I'll trade with you...I'll be 42 again and you be um er my age. ;) Seriously I don't feel my age...and I feel like a senior citizen around here.

LOL, well, I will be more than happy to be 'teacher' again...don't want the stern no-nonsense persona getting too rusty!!! So if you want to relax and let me crack the whip next week, I can manage (I think )
