That's the joke in my house... mom freckles she doesn't tan. (that's what my kids tell me at least) I have freckles on my face, arms, shoulders, and a couple on my chest.

I'm very fair skinned so I have a ton!

They don't really go away, stand under a black light and you will see that they are all still there just waiting - which is why they come out so quickly when you go out in the sun. Random fact of the day.

Yep...I get freckles on my face and a few on my arms when I am out in the sun!! I used to hate them but as I got older I realized I didn't have to wear makeup when they come out!!

For being fair-skinned and a strawberry blonde I DO tan rather nicely when I am out in the sun!!!

My DH has TONS of freckles and our boys are just starting to get them on their nose and cheeks!

Yep...lots of freckles here. And it kind of makes me laugh because my hubby and I were just talking about freckles the other day -- my son just started getting freckles this spring/summer and he is 6. I just wondered why he is getting them now, and not at a younger age...

Oh, and my nieces who are redheads/strawberry blondes all have tons of freckles and they used to HATE them. My sister had THE best explanation for them -- she simply told the girls they were angel kisses and that they should feel very special to have them! I've totally loved that explanation!
