LOL! I loved "Senior Photo Backdrop"

I read lots of romance novels & seriously wonder about the cover art sometimes. I have a bunch from the early 80s that feature scantily clad women who, going by their blowing slips & wind tossed long blond hair, must be caught in a tornado. While the dark brooding hero, standing RIGHT NEXT TO THEM does not have a hair out of place & his baggy buccaneer shirt hangs loosely on him.

Leading me to believe romance covers are subject to highly localized windstorms.
