:thumbup: Our Robotics team took 2nd place in the Robotics competition and 1st place in the BEST competition (combination of oral presentation, display booth, technical notebook, spirit & sportsmanship)!!
...So....besides the 200+ photos I took at Robotics today.....we'll be traveling to Ft Smith Arkansas the first week in December to compete in Nationals...and take even more pictures!!
I made a scrapbook with the robot kits I bought and it was a hit! I was so tickled that our team, as well as other teams, liked my scrapbook. Ours was the only booth there with a scrapbook. I got a lot of questions about WHERE in the WORLD I found robotic kits...of course I told them about SSD! Thank you to the designers who made the kits I used!
Okay I made "matchbook notebooks", water bottle labels, and "buttons" for give-a-ways....now I have to come up with a NEW set of give-a-ways for Nationals...anyone have any ideas?? I have to use our Cyborg mascot ... and the theme "Just Plane Crazy" (yes...with airplanes)...we're on a tight budget...so needs to be something easy to make like the matchbook notebooks. ...and what we make can't be with food (i.e. treat bags)...the rules were specific about that. Thanks for any ideas!
