Road Tripping... on a bus

I know there are many road trip kits available but they are all for traveling by car.

Travel tours by bus are very popular in the area where I live. Short or long, there are trips going out quite often. Various local historical societies do 1 day trips to historical places in the state. County Agencies on Aging do longer road trips to various places throughout the country ranging from 5 to 12 days. A travel agency local to me does at least 4 or 5 bus trips throughout the year usually 7 or 8 day trips.

A bus element would be nice. Word art such as "leave the driving to us", "sit back and relax" etc would be nice as well.

Now that I can travel again, bus trips are how I'm going to go... first one in 68 days!

I do know Amanda and I have one on our list of around the World Series, we did car, boat, train and plane. But bus is on our list too. Only not sure yet when we get on it.

All the traveling, day trips, vacations etc we do by bus or train as well

This is great! I do have other kits I can use until this would get released but I'm looking at several more bus trips next year so it would definitely get lots of use!

By the way... love the World series. Been using Iceland, France and Switzerland for photos my cousin's daughter posts of her family vacations. All places I probably won't go... I want to get to all 50 states and have only been to 14 so I have a lot of travel to do here!

Travel by train and bus, yes to this! We do this a lot, during vacations so this would be so useful!!

This would be awesome. As someone who doesn't drive due to visual impairments, I only use buses & trains primarily with a bit of flying occasionally

ooh - You could also add those double decker buses that are used for sight seeing tours to a kit, too! :)

To make life easier... What do you wish to see in the bus collection except for busses and tickets lol

Honestly, I'm not sure since I haven't been on a trip on a bus yet. It happens Oct 6th. Feel free to put it off until after the 13th and I'll have some ideas for you.

Actually the trip I'm taking is a guided tour where the tour company arranges everything. We are at their mercy as to when we have to be on the bus every day.

We are halfway done already and planned it for DSD. But I thought for some extra themed things.

Not that I need a kit like this right now, but these are some things I could think of: a mic for the guide, a flag or umbrella to follow the guide, snacks/drinks for during the trip, itinerary (journal card), etc.
And maybe wordart/wordstrips with things like 'our bus driver', 'our tour guide', 'follow the leader', 'we stopped here', 'point of interest', 'our company', 'the group', 'on the bus again', 'here we go', 'our bus trip', 'we, the travellers', etc.

I like these ideas!

Another word strip idea... "kick back and relax"

I got the paperwork yesterday and they suggest to bring entertainment whether it is a tablet, Kindle or laptop. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see someone doing knitting or crochet. They also suggest earplugs and an eye mask if you want to take a nap. Sunglasses are a must to keep the glare through the windows at a minimum.

I bought this kit Wendy as we did lots of bus trips while in Canada... mainly into the town so just the usual... but I thought this kit would help me scrap those bits of our holiday.... so thank you for this lovely kit.
Got the train one earlier for the same reason.... hehehe.

Now I need to use them!
