Relationships?

Ditto to Libby - we've met IRL and have been friends for many years...and I've also met Dianne IRL too!
 
Liz (LizzyFizzy) and I are real-life BFFs. She got tired of me babbling on about digi-scrapping and finally just gave in a gave it a try. Now she's a SugarBabe! :)

Other than that, I don't know anyone IRL. But I've been on Traci's, Christy's, and La's teams for well over a year now and I've gotten to know them and many of their other CTMs pretty well. :)
 
Amber (amber76) and I work together and she's my bestest friend here in Alaska. I got her hooked on digi, we've known each other for I guess about 8years now. That's pretty rare when you're in the military. LOL!

She's the only one I know IRL. But, I've know Jac, Jamie, Katrina, Karrina, & Rochelle for a few years now. I met them all at ivillage when we were making siggies back when I was pregnant with Keira. Oh, Meredith Fenwich, I knew her in the siggy world back before she started designing too.
 
Don't know anyone IRL but I've been around digi for almost 3 yrs and have been on teams for and with lots of people here so it feels like family :)
 
I don't know anyone IRL that digi scraps, haven't met anyone from the scrap world IRL, but would like to make friends here on the board.

yep, so my jenny (lilcameronsmommy) just told you our story. we're thinking of runnnig away together and getting married. :D

i feel like i've know several of these ladies (traci reed, la la, shannon, sara, lena, voodoo, col, heather, leeandra and a ton others) for ever and a day and i'm planning on renting an RV for a 'round the world SSD tour'.

wouldn't that be fun...you all would not know what to do with me. :p
 
Most of the digi scrapping people I have met IRL are not on this particular board, but are known in the community: Amy Edwards the owner of SBB, Dawn aka Miss Hunibuni Designs, April Anderton of the now defunct DSM, Katie Pertiet, Kellie Mize, etc etc.

Kellie Mize tried to teach me rollerblading one summer afternoon. To no avail.

I slept in the same Indianapolis hotel room with her and Katie back before Designer Digitals was born.

I spent a week in Maryland at Nancy Streicher's (NStreicher who no longer scraps) house with Amy and her family.

I've had IRL digi scrapping crops at Kari Schoonover's, who's now a CTM at Designer Digitals, house with Laurie (coffeequeen) & Lynne Stacey as we all live within 25 minutes of each other in the greater Indy area.

I've flown out to Bremerton, WA to spend a week with Tanya Riley (then Tanya Todd-Krasen, a retired designer) and her daughter while her SO was in Iraq.

I've met Jen Wilson twice.

April/sorashell from JWD got me backstage passes to meet Sugarland before their concert at a local 4H Fair.

I've met Shawn/auntiepea's entire family at a Fourth of July BBQ which includes her sister Manda who CTs for the Lilypad and her SIL Nina who CTs for Shabby Miss Jenn.

I could go on... *lol* Evidently, I'm a digital scrapper friend meetin' wh*re.

From SSD, I think the only person I've ever met IRL is Emmy. I've stayed at her house for a long weekend back in, say, June 2005 (maybe?) before her youngest Sam was born and we talk online almost every day. Actually, we have plans for me to go over there again to hang out in a couple weekends. Anyone want to come hang out with us in central IL?!
 
I don't know anyone IRL who digi-scraps either. But I have met a number of paper scrappers who live around this area - Ginger Rohlfs (who used to do the Gin-X line for Imagination Project) and Jennifer McGuire (back when she was an Autumn Leaves gal before she was with Hero Arts and CK). I also used to be on a paper scrapping site's CT with Angie4b1g a couple of years ago.
I hope to one day meet those of you that live around the Cincinnati/Dayton area, though!
 
Tabitha was my 1st CT - that I applied for. I was asked to be on ES's site CT when Jo started the store. I was friends w/ Amanda Rockwell from a parenting site. Lauren designed there back then too. Then Lena and Tab started designing together and I was on that team for a while ... till the lovely Ms. Traci graciously gave me a spot on the ScrapMommy team.

WOW - that was all ancient history. MY Digi collection is SO huge from all those wonderful ladies. I still have Lena & Tab's first collection on a DVD somewhere. I can't just "trash" anything. I burn old/retired stuff to CD's and bring it out as blackmail years later ROFL.
 
Kristin CB and I live in neighboring communities, met almost three years ago in a digi chat at SBB, met in person about 2.5 years ago. We don't get together very often (because I rarely ever head in her direction, and she normally comes my way when I am at work. lol). Her hubby and my hubby get along, so it's a huge plus. lol

Other than that, I haven't met anyone else here yet. I plan on meeting Bree Clarkson and Paula Duncan when I make my way up their direction, and one day, one day, I will meet Christy Lyle and Joan when I head their direction (it's been ages since I went that way!!).

Not related to anyone, and tried to meet up with SeattleSheri IRL but was a complete loser with my cell phone :( . Will hopefully try again. Need to head to Portland, OR soon, and will try to meet up with some ladies down there?
 
Sam (scrappychic) and I just met the weekend before Halloween! It's awesome to finally meet another digiscrapper IRL. :thumbup: And Sam is such a sweetie!!!

I was on Tabatha's team for a short while way back. Christy and I talk quite often and hopefully we'll actually get to meet IRL someday. There are so many others that I would like to meet that it would take all day to list them all!
 
Mormishmom and I go waaaaayyyyyy back to the college years. We were friends first, then co-workers, and now digi pals. :)

We also know Laura from college, but she's isn't around much because of her job. At one point, all three of us were on Penny's CT!
 
Jamie (newfiemountiewife) and I are cousin-in-laws. My FIL is her first cousin. My BFF is Melanie (KeeMacKayMom)

I think she means a different Karrina...the Karrina that use to be a Sugarbabe-her name had something to do with Jake Gylenhall. Katrina is going to have a baby...wholeee different person.

I got to meet Manda Bean in Atlanta when I visited there for a conference in summer '06. :)
