Reason #139 that I LOVE digital...

Grrrrr.... so I used to be a paper scrapper before I turned digital 1.5 years ago. So I have a couple albums with the traditional pages in them, and I was feeling nostalgic the other day, and wanted to look at them. When I opened them, I was horrified!!

All the titles have fallen to the bottom of the page protectors!!! As well as anything chipboard! Its all fallen off the pages, and now most of my pages are in need of repair. NOT impressed. It was mostly pages using certain products (Heidi Swapp), so I think I'm going to be writing a letter to complain!

Isn't scrapbooking about preserving memories?? How are you supposed to do that if you are forever going back and re-doing your old layouts? Hmph!!!
 
That was a mojor part of switching over for me. I hated see things just fall off or even get "picked" off by a 2yr old!! JUst not cool. I put too much time and effort in those pages, not to mention money, to have things just start falling off.

WooHoo for digi scrapping!!!!!!!
 
oh I am totally with ya on that!

I plan on redoing my son's paper album in digi form once I get caught up with the current years photos
 
I about 5 have hugely thick 12x12 paper scrapbooks for my first son's first 3 years of life. I used all the "right" CK approved adhesives and LOTS of things - even cardstock and paper weight things - have become detached! It is sooooo aggravating. There is no way I can remake hundreds of 2 page spreads in digi! So far I haven't tried to repair anything. I don't know which adhesives to trust now. :(

I know... a lot of other things have become detached and I used the "good" adhesives that garaunteed to stick forever! It just makes me mad... I said that there was no way I'd use a glue stick because it'll do that too, but I should have, it would have been FAR cheaper and have the same effect, lol!
 
I'm afraid to turn all nostalgic and go look at my old scrapbooks!! its probably been 2 or 3 years since I made them.

I used photo gluesticks and non photo gluesticks and so far none of my stuff has fallen off though I didnt use any of the expensive things on my pages.
