My daughter and I got our eyebrows waxed today. I also have my lip waxed. I seriously can't stop touching it. It's just so smooth. :D

Somebody tell me to staaaaahp!
 
This is the first time I heard of lip waxing. What exactly do they do to your lips, Carrie?
 
Well...it's not my actual lip. It would be the space between your lip and nose. Where a man would have a mustache. LOL
 
LOL. I do something similar but when I have a manicure. This last one I had glitter on two of my nails and I can't stop turning them so the light catches the sparkle or I will rub them with my finger. No idea why, I just do.
 
Ouch. I haven't had a lip wax in awhile. I am such a baby....it huuuuurts! And I stay red for a long time so if I'm out and about for a few hours afterwards I feel so self-consciousness b/c you just know people are looking at my red mustache and wondering....what the heck????
 
I need to go get waxed again soon and I will do the same thing. I recently discovered a local salon with late hours so now I go after work so I'm not neon red out in public.

Haha! I do, too, but I go to the Benefit Brow Bar in Ulta and the guy that does mine always adds a little bit of concealer so that I can walk around town without people giving me those looks. :thumbup:

Oh, OK. :o I wouldn't know much of it, since I don't go to salon here. The last time I had manicure was... umm... like probably 7 years ago! :(
 
I get my eyebrows waxed every month, but I do not like having a lip waxed. I think it looks odd since there is little blonde baby hair everywhere else, it looks odd to not be there. lol
 
I love the feeling right after a wax, but my wax girl went up in price so now I do it myself and I can do it as often as I like. :o I think I may have a problem...

oh you must treat yourself to one. I usually get mine done every 3-4 weeks. I would say my nails are the girliest thing about me :)
 
If you love your brows after waxing you should try threading :) They look soooooo good. I get mine threaded about every 3-4 weeks

I do threading instead of waxing now too. I was using a line of skin products that made my skin sensitive and I waxed off half my skin. That lasted for days. How embarrassing. That is when I switched to threading and I wouldn't go back!
