Today I am just so stinking ticked off. My daughter who is almost 17 and I am trying to allow more freedom just makes me so angry sometimes. She recently got a new job...ok thats great. Im glad she is willing to work and keep up her schoolwork; she is very responsible in that sense. I do not get on her about chores or anything at home. The only thing I ask is that when she is going to wherever she is going to call and let me know she got there. She cannot do that. So what started it today was she told us last night she would need a ride to work and for my husband to pick her up from school and take her to work. He said he would but he forgot. So when he called on the way home I reminded him of it. He had to make a detour to go pick her up and he wasted the rest of our minutes on our cell plan to call to see if I had heard from her. Of course I had not heard from her. She was already at work. Guess who took her to work? Her grandmother/my mother-in-law. So she had to call her grandmother to come and get her...after she had already told her dad she needed him to. And she couldnt call us after she had arranged for her to come and get her? So then her grandmother after dropping her off came to pick up my son. My son walked out to put his stuff in the vehicle and asked if Crystal was there...well I cant say what was said but he came back in and said she did not know where my daughter was. So what would that tell you if you were me? Shouldn't she have said oh yea tell your mom that I took her to work and not to worry about it? So now I am ticked at her too. I told my daughter she could stay home this weekend except for work and she is all mad at me saying how unfair I am and her dad is saying right in front of her that it isnt her fault...that it is just a misunderstanding. So Im mad at him too...I mean right now I am so fricking mad I feel like screaming and crying. So then my father-in-law calls me and curses me out because I guess he thinks I was calling his wife a liar. Well no I did not say that all I said was she should have told me she picked my daughter up. UGHHHHH!!! I could use a drink LOL j/k
