How long is the longest do you think you have went with not scrapping? I have bought lots of scrap stuff and have tons of photos but have not been doing many layouts lately. I open PSP and either get sidetracked or find no inspiration. For me it is about 2 or 3 months

 I went nearly a full year after DD was born. She had colic as an infant & was super difficult to get into a routine. I was so sleep deprived. My creativity just dried up for like 8 months or so! Then, our house flooded and we moved in with my parents for 3 months while our house got remodeled.

I think what kick-started my scrapping was an album I made for my mom for Mother's Day... then I was scrapping again (exclusively digi).

When Ben was born, I didn't scrap at all for 6 months. What little free time I was able to eek out, I was sewing and hanging out on a babywearing website. Then there were 6 months after that when I made myself scrap because I wanted to be recording the memories, but I had no mojo and it was hard to finish a page. Finally, after about a year, I started to love it again.

I took a 6 months break last year.
But I hardly scrapped during the 3 years I was a designer either. I probably have even longer periods of non-scrapping back then. I have lots of respect for the designers that can combine both!

Wow. I don't think I've ever gone more than 2 weeks. That was when I was pregnant and just had no mojo whatsoever. Apparently, I need scrapping for my sanity.

Right now I'm on month 2 of no scrapping & I believe this is the longest I've gone. I lost my camera charger and I need to replace it. I don't like scrapping pictures from my phone because they don't look good when printed.

I could go back and scrap some old pictures but I just haven't felt like it. Not being able to use my camera has me like depressed almost.

Eeeep....I don't think I've gone more then a week....10 days at the most!!! And those have only been FORCED hiatuses...like vacation or broke computer or when we have moved!!! :D :D I'm a true addict!!! :p

I have went through several periods of dark time since I have been scrapping but I think the longest time I have ever went is 2-3 weeks max. I use it as an outlet.

I couldn't scrap for the first two weeks of this month because I've been too busy with my photography business. I've still got plenty of editing to do, but I took a few hours last weekend to scrap because I missed it.

I've only been doing this for a year though. lol.

I barely scrapped last year- no time but REALLY missed it. Now finally ready to scrap again and my laptop crapped out on me. :(

I went seven weeks at the beginning of the year, but that was for medical reasons. I had to really limit my computer time.

A few weeks, I guess. I didn't get much scrapping done from when DD was born until she was 8 or 9 months old, but I still did some. I can't not do it, kwim?

When I was a paper scrapper, I would have gone months without scrapping... but now with digi, I think my longest would have been a week - last week while on va-ca... haha.

Probably about 7-10 days! I always take my computer on vacation! It's fun to scrap in the evenings when everyone is worn out!

About 9 months...I'm just now really starting to scrap again and it feels good! :) I missed it, missed the closeness of the community, and missed my scrappy friends. :) Happy to be back!

yep this.....even when I was in Kuwait I was scrapping :) but I haven't paper scrapped in 3 years :(

Pregnancy kills my mojo, not to mention sitting is bad for my blood pressure. I go about 6 months each pregnancy without scrapping.

When I was pregnant with Declan, I developed Pregnancy Induced Carpel Tunnel Syndrome and didn't scrap much at all. He was born in November and I remember making a Father's Day album in June but that was the only time I scrapped when I was pregnant with him and that album took all I had... my poor hands. I didn't start scrapping again until January after he was born so June to January, roughly 6 months. Then I went 8 months between August of 2011 and April of 2012. I came back and scrapped 18 pages that month though. :) In between scrapping I did do a bunch of photoshop projects, just not actual album pages.

Almost a year! Last year my harddrive died along with all my layouts. All my kits and photos were backed up, but not my layouts. I was/am sooooo mad that I couldn't even look at my photos. I'm slowly starting to redo my layouts. It's a long, tedious process. I've been a digital scrapper since 2004.

I think it was about two months. When I had a ton of offline commitments I had to step back and go on hiatus for a while.

I know for sure I've gone a month without scrapping. I hate it when I just have no desire. The last time, it was just a bunch of stuff going on at home and I needed a break from my computer desk.

this is me...except 2 weeks for vacation. the only computer I had was my phone.

I started digital scrapping in February 2008, since that time, the longest I went was a month last summer when we moved, but were displaced for two weeks and I had no computer and then the next two weeks we had no internet. Crazy as it sounds, I scrap best when I have the inspiration and encouragement of online communities!

Lately, I've been scrapping like crazy-just in a week, I've done over 10 layouts! And I recently discovered the portfolio challenges here and I'm so hooked!

Every now and then I take 2 weeks or so off...not intentionally, just busy doing other projects.

I try to keep up on choosing pictures/recording the stories though so when I do return, I'm ready.

About 4 mos in 2008 when i was pregnant with Ella...I had 24/7 nausea and complete computer aversion..didn't even turn in on some days.
