Having to plan (and buy!) a week's worth of meals around Jeff's new second shift schedule. It is no fun making dinner for one person.

Lately, it's been 5-6.

Sure, but I'd have to make my own gf version here at the house to do that nowadays and GF cookie dough cannot possibly be as tasty as regular cookie dough.

Nope.

(06) How do you eat Oreos?
I try not to. I hate getting black cookie crumbs stuck up in my teeth, yo.

(07) Do you wear your shoes in the house?
Nope. We have an old rubber mat with an insane number of shoes piled up right inside the front door.

(08) Who or what sleeps with you?
Just Jeff mostly. Occasionally, the baby works her way in, but it's usually my sad attempt to get her to sleep for a little longer and she squawks and cries to let me know that is not going to fly with her!

(09) At what age did you find out that Santa wasn't real?
I'm not sure. Maybe 7 or 8? I figured it out when I saw my Cabbage Patch doll rocking chair box in the basement Christmas afternoon.

(10) Who would you call first if you won the lottery?
Besides Jeff, I'd call my mom to tell her to pack her bags for a month long stay in Australia. She's always dreamed of going there.

(11) When was the last time you saw your best friend?
I don't really have a best friend anymore. :(

(12) What jewelry are you wearing?
just my wedding rings

(13) Is anyone on your bad side right now? Why?
Hmmm, not really. I cut ties with my childhood best friend last March after years of stress and heartache, and it was the best thing I could have done for myself.

check email and Facebook

(15) What do you do for a living?
take care of the sweetest almost 6 month old on the planet :)

(16) What are you doing tomorrow?
Same as I am today, I imagine: housework and babywork.

I feel so guilty when I don't! I try to park right next to the corral so that I can put the baby in the car to keep warm but still be able to put the cart away without being too far from the baby.

No way. I don't think I'd survive being inside a police station too long let alone prison!

I bought a handful of things from Mira Designs' retirement sale last week and a few things from the grocery store Saturday night.

(20) What irritates you most on the Internet?
Designers/store owners who go AWOL for months at a time and then suddenly reappear with no explanation (and/or retire and unretire multiple times) and the teenage MySpace/Facebook profile picture pursed lips + peace sign + taken from high above pose top the list.

(21) What do you drink with dinner?
Crystal Light Fruit Punch or 1% milk

(22) Can you change the oil in your car?
I'm sure I'm physically capable of doing so, but that's what husbands and tire places are for, aren't they?

(23) Which is better at a wedding: DJ or live band?
DJ for sure. I'd rather hear the original artist singing their own song(s).

living on or below the poverty line, having/raising a child

I don't have any. I'm lame.

Paying my mortgage (it's the beginning of the month again!) The money's there, I just hate seeing that huge of a chunk disappear from my account.

Twist and get one side off. Scrape the middle off with my teeth, enjoy it very much. Out of obligation eat the outside cookie parts.

My hubby!!

I don't think we (I have a twin sister, so most of my answers re: my childhood are answered as "we") ever really believed in Santa. But my parents always put "Santa" gifts out for Christmas morning, just did it w/ a wink.
