Feel free to post some random bits here :mellow:.

1. Carrot crockpot failure. Last week i bought a 5lb bag of baby carrots @ Costco. Yesterday realized that we would probably never eat them. So I dumped a bunch in the crockpot as an experiment. Thought maybe I could cook them and then puree them? Freeze puree for um, something . . .. Well this morning, the carrots looked gray and yucky. I can't bear to eat them or look at them.

2. Bought a jar of toasted wheat germ today just b/c Shawna had posted about it.
 
1. I really should be packing right now for our weekend away, but instead I am sitting reading posts.

2. My 11 year old was signing Viva Viagra while we were out running errands in the van because he thought it was a cool song. (of course he has NO clue what Viagra is)
 
1. The sun is giving me a headache.

2. I think dusting is overrated. I am going for the old antique store look around here.
 
1. I made a cheese cake this week and decided to make that super yummy sour cream topping for it. Well I forgot about it after I made the topping and put it back in the oven and well the cheese cake is not so super yummy anymore :(

2. I cleaned out my hard drive and found at least 8 kits that I have never used.
 
I'm starving but don't want to eat before dinner.

I haven't done any scrapping today and haven't felt like it, and yet I still keep coming back to the computer!

Because Jen cleaned out, I'm going to right now!

Earlier Naomi took my cookie and I fake cried until she gave it back. Then I felt bad.

I'm having to choose between buying some digi this weekend and COOK DINNER tonight or go out to dinner and have no new digi. It's cruel and unusual to have to choose something like that.

Parker is still on a nursing strike. :(

I just finished making a stuffed, fleece car for my son. My "softie" creations are amateur, but I love how much my kids love them.
 
1. I found out my c-section will be July 16, trying not to go into labour before then, because my doctor thinks if I am already in labour we should do a "trial of labour" instead of going straight to c-section.

2. I distracted my daughter a cookie today instead of reading her a story, because I didn't want read it for the 20th time today...
 
1. I have totally given up on the idea of keeping our massive playroom clean
2. Crickets are creepy and loud and apparently DUMB (see "cricket hunt" thread)
 
I just drank a hot cup o' TheraFlu. WHY do I have to get sick during the holidays?

Tool Time is on Nick at Nite right now and I haven't watched that show in SOOO long I forgot how silly it was!

I'm getting sleepy, very sleepy.
 
1. I was mid-way through having a shower tonight, and had forgotten to turn on the bathroom extractor fan to take away the steam. My 4 and a half year old comes into the steamy bathroom (because apparently kids just can't let you shower alone). I ask her to please turn on the extractor fan for me, and she leans closer to the glass door and says in all seriousness "Why, what did you DO?"

I had a weird dream last night that I went to church (I don't go to church) drinking a beer (I rarely drink). I walked into church and walked around for about 20 minutes and then realized I was still holding a bottle of beer. Then when I realized I'd been walking around church with a beer I went in the bathroom to throw it away and my teeth fell out, but when I looked in the mirror, my teeth were still there and apparently I'd had veneers and it was those that fell of all my teeth. Let me repeat....this was a DREAM I had last night (incase you missed the beginning of this post). I totally must have eaten something weird before I went to bed - LOL :confused::unsure::confused:
 
I am setting up my shiny new pink lappy! Why isn't there an easier way to get all your stuff onto a new puter?

I should be cooking for a party and I'm sitting on my butt AGAIN!

Girl, that is only because you've never lived without it. Do you have any idea how convenient it is to go to ONE store to buy tampons, orange juice AND light bulbs? i have to go to three stores to get those things, and if I go on the wrong day, I'll have to go to FOUR because there's a good chance at least one of the stores won't have what it's supposed to.

And great news, apparently eating raw egg shells from the trash can will NOT cause great harm to a 10 month old.
 
1. I am shooting my first wedding this tomorrow!! I am super nervous!

2. I tryed to cut my own hair and it looks like crapola, thank god it was to the middle of my butt to start with and you cant really tell, (now its to the beginning of my butt LOL)

3. I am trying to catch up on ct requirements from last month! I am so behind and hoping this month is so much better for us!
 
1) I'm at work today :(

2) My 6.5yo DD is at my parents' home with a temp of 100.6. Why do kids have to get sick on holidays?

1. I have people coming over for bbq and fireworks this evening. I really should be cleaning and cooking instead of sitting here at the computer.

2. Yesterday while talking in the car with Kim about what letter different words started with I learned that "BANK" starts with "Piggy". I always thought it was a "B". Who knew?!?!
 
Why why why do children have to wake up at the crack of dawn when you are off work and can sleep in.. but when they have to be up to go to daycare you have to drag their little bodies out of bed???

After doing the product packaging challenge using the pita chip bag, I tasted some at Costcos and now I'm HOOKED on them!

Went to Starbucks in the morning for a mocha then went back in the afternoon and got a java chip. Talk about hooked. I hope I'm not the only one who does this.

Thanks so much. Now I know that they taste as good as they looked. This is NOT good news for my diet.

hmm, i'm wondering what a java chip is. I am a plain ol' latte kind of gal
 
I have been waking up every two hours 24/7 for the past week to pump or feed and it's catching up to me. Today I poured coffee over my teabag. >.<

I feel like Yorick thinks I've replaced him. We're having a hard time. Since my in-laws are visiting, he's ignoring me entirely. </3
