question for you chickies on bcp..

lol sorry.. all personal and what not.. and I know this will sound odd ^_^ but... for those on bcp- and esp those who have been on different types over time.. do your b00bs hurt no matter which one you're on? I've waited out the standard "3 months for side effects to subside" and to say my b00b pain has been intense is an understatement.. and instead of "subsiding" it seems to have just gotten worse. they will seriously go up a full freakin cupsize with the swelling during my 3 active weeks of pills. I feel like a big baby but I don't want to have painful b00bs all month long. Otherwise the bcp has been fine, after the first month of weirdness I adjusted well enough to be "happy" otherwise. I'm on a low dose bcp- I'm assuming all ld ones will have the same effect- please correct me if I'm wrong there, which is also a concern.. cause I'm on a ld for a reason..
So should I just suck it up? would you just suck it up? sigh..
 
oh and it's just a steady hormone level-- maybe that's why my b00bs pretty much explode.. in contrast to those tricyclen kinds?
 
I was only ever on Tricyclen and Tricyclen Lo. But my boobs never hurt, ever...the only time they felt different was when I was pregnant.

I was on a low dose after having my girlies & I did not notice anything weird like that, but I was BF-ing at the time & my hooters were huge ALL.THE.TIME.

Maybe try a different brand? Keep the low dose, but see if it helps a month or two on some other brand. And call the doc and see if they have any samples for you to "try". The usually do. And it is worth a shot.
 
lol manda.. increased b00bage wouldn't be such a big deal if they didn't freakin hurt so bad ^_^
I'll call the dr for sure since none of you have had pain issues haha.. every day I just keep telling myself to suck it up, but I was going to take another shower just now.. and took my bra off and seriously yelped.. that is just not normal lol.

that doesn't sound good at all! Hope the doctor says whats up. I don't remember my boobs ever hurting on my birth control... but I think its been like 2 years since I've been off. *Yeah 2 years no birth control... no babies. :(

oh and manda in my case bigger boobs is a bad thing. :unsure: I couldn't imagine them any bigger!
 
I am not on bcp anymore but over the years have been on several different ones and the only time my boobs ever hurt in my life was when my milk was drying up. So yeah, I would say that you need to talk to the doc about it.
 
I ended up gaining like 30 lbs while on BCP not to mention they made me a complete B*tch and I couldn't even stand myself that I just finally stopped taking them. I am now 100% satisfied with my 10 year Copper IUD! :D
