Question for non PS peeps!

I'm wondering.... can people who do not use PS use a template that has shadow styles applied to the layers? I know some programs can't open TIF files, but if the PSD has shadows on the layers, can you use it or customize the shadow? :huh:

PSP does not recognize the shadows as separate layers.

I know it doesn't recognize the shadows/layer styles, but it will still open the PSD's. I put shadows on my templates and have a few team members that use PSP without problems - they just have to do their own shadows.

So, it basically would just clear the layer style when they opened it?

I believe so. I don't have PSP so I can't know for sure, but I know I've never heard any complaints about errors when opening them!

Yes, the shadows will not show up, but I know that a lot of people are putting the shadows on a seperate layer now. I know one of my CTs did the shadows a different way and it would not open the template for me then. She had to change them to a seperate layer.
