On the text on the photo...I did just what Mandy said - dragged out a text box and then made sure the text was aligned to the right.
For the text on the bottom...
--I created a new layer
--used the marquee tool to drag out a rectangle (which did overlay the circle)
--then used the paint bucket tool to flood fill this rectangle
--Ctrl + right click on the thumbnail preview in the layers pallette of the outside circle (marching ants will now appear around the circle)
--Expand the selection...something like Select ==> Expand (not sure...don't have PS open at the moment) and I usually try 40 pixels
--Ctrl + X to cut this part out of the rectangle that I had created.
if there are more items that the text needs to go around...I usually Ctrl + Click on the 1st layer...then Ctrl + Shift + click on any other layers
This will give me a shape that I want my journaling contained in, then
--Ctrl+click on the thumbnail preview in the layers palette of this custom shape layer I created
--Click on the Path pallette
--Create a path (forgot which icon it is at the bottom of the layers palette...again, I don't have PS open at the moment)
--Click the text icon
--Click
in the shape and start typing. The text will be confined to the custom shape I had created.
In the LO you linked above...I only had it left aligned.
I use paths
a lot in helping me shape my journaling...esp b/c I just want to type (or copy and paste lol) and not think about hitting return here or there.
It sounds pretty laborious, but it's real quick...maybe b/c I use it a lot lol.
here are some other LOs I've used paths to help in shaping my journaling
Megan!,
Over and Over and Over,
Dismount,
Sand,
Insecure and
Queen
Yeah...I like to link up my LOs lol.
HTH!
