I am wondering something for those people who shop at walmart what kinda walmart do you have near you? (even if you dont shop there you can answer LOL) The closest actual walmart is a super-center. I am not sure if there really are many actual walmarts around where I live anymore but there are alot of walmart neighborhood gorceries being built though which are really nice because you get aalmart prices without the crowds.

lol, I was thinking the same thing. lol We have the first 2. :) But, I voted for Super b/c we only have one regular near us & it's about to be torn down & replaced w/a super!

So what I was really curious about is if the neighborhood groceries are being built everywhere...we have alot of them in this area now. I think about six or so now. I really love the neighborhood groceries for just regular grocery shopping.

Well ours sells groceries too, but it's way smaller than the super-center in the closest big town...they actually have 2 super centers there. I would LOVE it if it were just a grocery store..I didn't know they had them like that.

yea Nikki they are about the size of a grocery store. Way smaller then a regular walmart even and the sign says "Walmart Neighborhood Market"

Super Wal*Mart--one of the newer style ones. As much as I want to dislike Wal*Mart, this store is nice. The employees are actually helpful...well except the lady that tries to run us over with the floor waxer.

Even with that, we go to Target more since it's much closer to us (3 minutes vs 15).

I didn't answer because we don't have a Wal-mart here. The closest one is three hours away.

Our Wal-Mart is OLD. We just got beer/wine within the last 6-8 months. However, I avoid it like the plague unless I absolutely need to go there. It's a dirty, yucky, messy store.

However, there is a brand new Wal-Mart Supercenter with the huge grocery store in it about 20 minutes away. I go there a couple of times a year. :)

We have a super center, but it's fairly new. The grocery store is pretty nice, but I found that I spend more there than at Kroger because Kroger has better sales. :)

We have one of the older style regular ones. There's a small section of groceries, but it's more like a convenience store than a grocery store. No produce at all. I don't know of any Super-Walmarts in our area, though they may be here. I didn't even know Wal-mart had a grocery store line. We shop at Wal-mart once in a (long) while, but the Target is much nicer so I go there when I need something from one or the other. The Target is also within walking distance, and the Wal-mart is just a little too far to walk.

We have a new (within the last year) Walmart about 3-4 miles from us. It's very rarely busy, but the flip side is that they don't always have what I need in stock. They are doing better about restocking quickly. I think it took them at least six months to get that process going, though. Once I wanted paper napkins and I swear they had none. Paper napkins! Generally I really like our Walmart and find good buys there. We used to have to drive 20 minutes in traffic to get to a WM, so I'm happy with the new one!

Ours is not a Super Center, but it's not exactly a grocery either. It has *some* grocery stuff, but not produce or meat or anything. I shop there because it's the only large store anywhere near us, it's 1 1/4 hours away. There are only small, expensive stores here.

We have a Wal Mart Supercenter in town. If I travel an hour south or east there are regular Wal Marts. I've never seen the Neighborhood grocery. But we have 4 other grocery stores, in addition to wal mart and some other grocery store is being built and this is a small town. we are over stocked in grocery stores

SuperCenters and Neighborhood Markets here. But, I live in Northwest Arkansas, so it's kinda to be expected. I have 4 SuperCenters that I shop at on a regular basis and 2 Neighborhood Markets.

yeah, we have supercenters and neighborhood markets here. We have a supercenter and neighborhood market both about 2 minutes from our house. And then there are 2 more supercenters about 10 minutes away. we don't shop at the neighborhood market because we always need other stuff anyway.

We only have regular walmarts around here because the city won't let them build a super center. The closest super center is out in the suburbs and takes about 45 minutes to drive there.
We rarely shop at wal-mart for personal reasons (we're both ex-associates).
