Question about Heather's Geo Cards

I am very fascinated by Heather Roselli's Geo Cards. I am having visions of myself making incredibly adorable cards with these. However, before I go buy these I have a question about them b/c I suck at visualizing things.

So on the printables examples, like the owl card, for instance. Is it easy to make sure that everything lines up so that when everything is folded the design looks normal? Am I making sense? TIA!
 
I just download them to answer your question and because they are to-die-for cute! So, they come with the standard templates (as shown in the preview) and an alternate layered template that has the pieces folded over to line up your design! Such a genius idea! I think it would work perfectly! I'm thinking I need to make a bunch of these to hold gift cards for Christmas!

I got them and now everyone will think I'm a crafty genius... the ones who don't digiscrap will have no idea how easy Heather made it for me! :) LOVE these!!!!!
 
hehe! I'm so glad you all are enjoying them!

I tried to make it easy two different ways for those people that think differently. In the standard templates I put all the degrees that you would need to rotate your patterns to, but then when SaraL did all those clever lined up designs, we decided to create the alternate templates where the panels are all lined up as for a closed card so you can line your stuff up too! After you put your designs on the alternate templates, you then have to turn each panel 180 degrees and put it back where it goes (like in the standard temps) before you print. I tried to do pretty in-depth instructions for them too, but if you have any troubles, please just shoot me an email. :)
 
so I have a question...do you have to print on both sides of your paper ? or will you print on just one side?
 
Gads girls!!! My directions for the cards were completely wrong!!! I've reworked the templates and the directions. I think they will be so much easier to use now. Please go back to your acct at the Shoppe and DL the product again to get the new files.

I feel so stupid :o especially after this thread! hehe Hope you can forgive me!

Angie, You can print on just one side of the paper and everything you see on the outside of the card will be printed. When you open it out though the inside will be white...but you can fix that by printing a pattern or solid on the back of your paper first if you'd like to. HTHs :)
