Today is Three Kings Day. Is it something you celebrate?

In Belgium, the kids go from house to house in groups of 3 (sometimes 2 or 4) dressed up as a king and they carry a star. They stop at every house and sing a song. In exchange they get money. Kind of like going to trick or treat with Halloween.

I did heard about it. My parents always told me they put down the christmas deco after 3 kings day. But we dont really celebrate it here

That's what we do as well... taking down the Christmas decorations after 3 kings day.

We don't do 3 Kings Day in the states - sounds neat! Since it is the end of Epiphany, the Christmas lights will be turned off outside (they are frozen into the ground, so will be there until it thaws) and the Christmas decor will come down tomorrow. :) Also - Jake will get his last gift.

It is! The tradition is similar like trick or treating (only no scary costumes) but it's celebrating the end of Epiphany like Rebecca said.

We celebrate it but tomorrow because In France it's not a Holiday so Church decides it'll be the first Sunday of january for celebrating Epiphany.

We call it Epiphany or King festival and the tradition is to share a king cake.
The cake is called a galette des Rois, and is a round, flat, and golden cake made with flake pastry and often filled with frangipane.
the cake contain a charm, usually a porcelain figurine, called a feve (broad bean in French).

The part of the cake are choosen by the youngest who hide under the table and say for who is the part to assure that the recipient of the bean is random.

The person who gets the piece of cake with the trinket becomes "king" or "queen" and wears a paper crown provided with the cake.

It's quite funny, it's so yummy and Kids love this!:)

I didn't know about your tradition in Belgium Sarah, Find it so great!!!!

I know in Spain, it's like Christmas day today because the 3 Kings bring the presents to kids. It's a big day!:)

Happy 3 Kings day to all who celebrate it!!!!!!!!!

I have heard about the cake tradition as well. I believe some people celebrate it that way here as well. Some bakeries and super markets sell that kind of cake. But we've never done this, personally.
