What are your feelings on gingerbread?

Are you a fan or a hater? Got any good gingerbread or gingerbread-flavored recipes?

The kids did a gingerbread house & a gingerbread train last night so it's on my mind. I like to eat it every once in awhile, no matter the season, but do tend to associate it more with Christmastime.

Gingerbread is kind of like pumpkin flavor to me. Both are good but a little goes a long way!!

yum... gingerbread... but I think mine is more molasses and anise than it is "ginger" that is traditional.

I am not a fan of sugar cookies, so every year I make a big batch of gingerbread men. (Ok, sometimes they are men. Other times they are airplanes, moose and last year, space needles...it depends who is doing the cutting...)

They're not my favorite Christmas cookies, ever (in terms of taste), but they're fun to cut out and the kids enjoy them.

I only make gingerbread for the houses, BUT Burger King makes a gingerbread shake that is AHHMAZING!

Love actual gingerbread, gingerbread cookies, and the like. I have a soft gingersnap cookie recipe that was my grandma's and they are so good. A warm piece of gingerbread with just a dollop of whipped cream is so yummy!

Mmm... I love ginger anything. My mom made a soft gingerbread cake when I was a kid that she served with whipped cream. I much prefer it like that then the cookies, but it's all good to me.

I like gingerbread cookies, but only if they're soft. Like, I wouldn't eat the gingerbread that we use to build the house we do each year. That's solid as a rock! There aren't really many dessert type items I don't like, really.

I love gingerbread.. gingersnaps.. ginger anything. It really is my favourite. soft.. hard.. I'll take any of it Tim Hortons has my favourite soft ginger cookie. yummo

I am not a big gingerbread fan. I don't hate it, but I'd rather not eat it. My son, however, loves it.
