Qnext

I get a 'yellow' connection with Qnet & to make it green it wants me to change stuff on my router. I'm sure it is probably fine, but I really don't like messing about with my router configuration. I wonder how much I can do as a yellow instead of green?

Tracy, when i do that it shows up as a link for Tracey and vice versa. Other times it tells her she isn't "connected" or something like that.

what is yellow and green and how do you know what you have?
 
I never used Hello and I feel dumb asking this, but what are screen shots for? Feel free to whack me in the head. lol

Well I always used it to show a layout in process, or something you wanted to buy at a store. Easier than giving a link & it was instant.

Yellow and green are the type of connection strength you have, better downloads and sharing speeds. In the main qnext window under your user name in the upper left corner is the qnext symbol with a dot on it. That dot will show you your connection strength, green, dark green, yellow or red. Mine's yellow for some reason, even though I did make the router changes it suggested. I can still chat. I suspect I wouldn't want to share streaming audio or video though.
 
yes they show up immediately. Qnext doesn't seem to have the request user permission option. though you can ban people.

You can file share by creating a zone. It seems pretty easy.
