Punching Holes in CDs?

Before there were Crop-A-Diles and before I had invested in a Dremel, I used to use your everyday small hole-puncher. Here's the key: put it in hot water for a while to "soften" it (of course, before you decorate the CD, lol). This helps prevent it from cracking when you punch it, too....

DANG - that was a great tip but I already glued the pages to the CDs. Wonder if I could use my heat tool to warm it up before punching. I leave the power tools to my DH and this has to be done by 1:30 tomorrow! ACK.

When I got hubby to do mine with his power drill, he just put some masking tape on the outside CDs to prevent cracking, then drilled through the lot all at once. If you've already put your papers on, place an undecorated CD on either side of the decorated stack and drill through.
