PSE 11?

I haven't scrapped in FOREVER and the Undead sale is pulling me back in! :wub: I've been out partly because every time I open PSCS2, yes, 2 :o, the program crashes. :mad: I can't find the disc to reinstall. The reset trick didn't work. I think it is no longer compatible with my operating system.

So, should I go ahead and buy PSE11? Surely it's an upgrade from CS2? Does anyone know if it will run my actions and styles that I used in CS2? I have a few that I loved and would really miss!
 
I would encourage you to download the trial. They made some pretty drastic changes to the user interface, but it is easier to add actions and styles. As with all actions created in PS, most will work in PSE, but if they use specific commands that are not available in PSE, then they will not complete. So, you'll probably have to try them.
 
Right now I have PSCS2 like you and it's not terribly reliable. I use PSPThe majority of the time but have some actions and styles I'd use PS for. I downloaded the trial of PSE 11 )last week to see if the actions and styles would work. So far, I've been able to use the styles in it and, for the most part, the actions have worked. Now, I'm trying to decide if I should go ahead and invest the money in it since I'll still do the majority of my scrapping in PSP.
 
Darn...wish I knew that. I just went ahead and bought it but did it through Adobe so I paid the full price. *sigh* Oh well. Can't really undo that. Next time I know to check Amazon first.
