PS Layers Palette Question

My sister-in-law can't remember how she did it so I thought I'd ask all you lovely ladies.

How do you get the items on your layers palette to be seen as larger items so you're not clicking on every layer to see which one has that little tiny button, LOL? Does that make sense?

Right click on the thumbnail in the layers palette, and choose "clip thumbnails to layer bounds"

(I didn't know this, but just was playing to see if I could answer your question...now I know, and this will be SOOO helpful, lol)

I didn't know this was possible either. I usually just ctrl + click on the element that I want to select.
